Rookie linebacker Micah Parsons was 16 months old when Tom Brady was a rookie in New England in 2000. Next Thursday Parsons makes his debut against Brady next week in Tampa Bay. "That's actually pretty crazy but you just got to give credit to him, the fact that he's able to stay in this league this long and be so dominant," he said. "He's one of the greatest to ever do it, so I really look up to a guy like Tom Brady because I want to have as long a career as (him).
Dealing with a neck issue for years, left Tyron Smith finally feels normal again as he enters his 11th season. So much so that he is no longer wearing the neck roll that he estimated he wore the last four seasons. "You can throw that thing away," he said. "I don't want memories of that thing." Smith is looking to play his first full season since 2015.
Dak Prescott knew early last week his shoulder was no longer an issue. "The moment I got into any team reps, I wasn't dialing anything down," he said. "I wasn't trying to throw a certain amount of percentage. I think that's just the way I play the game, I just went out there and playing within the moment, ripping passes, not thinking about it, just making the plays I needed to make. Then after two days like that realizing there wasn't any residual effect and I wasn't sore."
