Great episode this week.
The grey powder gave me the impression of a voodoo circle which is used to keep spirits trapped. Though I still tend to believe that if we go so far into the supernatural (even though the show is leading us purposefully in that direction) It's a mistake.
Locke won't die. No way. He wasn't dead at the end of the episode so he's not going to die at the start of the next. That goes against every script writing convention. Besides, he's way too big a character in the show and the work and journey his character has gone on would not be served to die now.
The show is showing us what we think are big chunks of plot (and to be fair they are) but we're not really any closer on discovering the mysterious nature of the island even if we have seen a lot of shit go down.
Still there is a lot more to speculate about.

Since I downloaded the episode I was glad to be able to go straight back when I noticed Jacob for a split second. My first thought was that he was Richard Alpert, since his hair and clothing look similar to how Richard looked in Ben's flashback.
Not sure what to make of the hostiles, but it shows that Mikhail wasn't actually lying when he gave his version of events. Maybe the hostiles are aliens or ghosts, or Richard's lack of aging could be thanks to be born on the island?

I don't think Jacob looked like Locke at all. At some point during that sequence there's a closeup of Jacob's eye, which is brown. Locke and Ben both have blue eyes.
If anything, to me, he looks like an old grizzled version of Jack's pappy. But that doesn't make sense, either.

Thoughts on the Looking Glass? The people on it looked more like Hostiles than DHARMA, but then the Others dress like Hostiles too, and they're not Hostiles.
Thank goodness for Lostpedia, I didn't realise that the woman Charlie helped was Nadia. And apparently in the swimming pool flashback, someone says something like "come along, Desmond". No mention of Naomi being in Charlie's singing scene though.

John Locke's. Just a guess.
Deader than a doornail.
That was a Lostzilla manifestation, like Eko's brother Yemi. Lostzilla may or may not be controlled by Jacob (or even BE Jacob), but it seems that it is since Locke's wounds and legs were healed and Jacob is the healer.
Don't know. It was left open deliberately. Could be Sawyer, could be her kid, could be her ex(?) husband (Nathan Fillion).
