I have a vague unconnected memory of being very close proximity to Mr. George Clinton and being nearly overcome with the BO of same. I can't for the life of me remember where or when it was, only that for a long time afterward it was a running gag in my family that I alone knew "who got the funk."

I think it was a festival or jazz concert a few years ago. I'll have to investigate further...
 
EDIT: found it, it was in 1999 he came and played a free concert our city used to put on, party in the park style. I attended a bunch of them, they kicked ass before the city ran outta money. But I remember distinkly (lol) the P-Funk coming offa that guy as he went up on stage. Nearly killed me...
