It's been unseasonably cool here in SoCal. The thing about living in this area is that the temp can change by 10 degrees in the span of 10-15 miles. The weatherguessers always give you three temps. For example, it will be 70 at the beaches, 80 in downtown L.A. (15 miles away), and 90 in the Valleys. I live in the I.E., it's a Valley, and is generally 10-15 degrees hotter than downtown.
I generally dislike the heat, but SoCal heat ain't nothin' but a thang. Why? NO HUMIDITY! Philadelphia summers are the worst: blazing triple-digit heat coupled with stifling humidity. It's not unusual for an August day to be 95 degrees with 95 percent humidity...and no rain. You fucking PRAY for rain, just too cool things off a bit.
Here, in SoCal, it can be 102 and I barely break a sweat, 'cause it's so dang dry. Love it!
