MAKING HEADLINES

here's my headline for today:

just finished a commissioned piece for a veterinarian who likes pigs. I call it "Some Pig". Those of you who read books as children might recognize the reference.
ANyway, I have a new-found appreciation for the cuteness of pigs.
Not that they would ever replace ducks in my heart, or anything, but they can be cute.

Today at midnight several people got married in the state of Washington.

Also in the news:
Today, several people forgot that even though an oz of marijuana became legal to posses, it is still illegal to posses it if you are a teenager in school, just like alcohol. Or perhaps this happens everyday and the reporters just decided today it was news.
yeah that.

And even though it is legal to posses an oz of marijana in the state, but not federally it is not okay to steal your neighbors pot.

Sheriff’s deputies received a call about 8 a.m. from the 35-year-old homeowner, saying there had been a shooting at his residence. Deputies arrived to find two men dead in a three-car garage attached to the home. The dead men were wearing masks and carrying backpacks. Deputies also found a large marijuana-grow operation in the garage. The dead men apparently had come to the home to steal the pot, Troyer said "This was not a random robbery," he said.. The dead men had guns, and apparently fired back during the fracas, Troyer said. The homeowner and his 9-year-old son, who apparently saw the shootout, were not hurt. The two were taken to the sheriff’s department for questioning to determine whether the homeowner acted in self-defense. Regardless of how that question is answered, the homeowner will be investigated for running an illegal pot-growing operation, Troyer said. “This far exceeds a medical marijuana-grow operation,” Troyer said.

I went to Target with my BFF today and we were looking at baby things (she's having a kid), and I saw the CUTEST onesy for her baby.

I know what I'll be buying.

I got a PRO tip from my bff regarding baby clothing. Don't buy newborn size stuff, as the baby outgrows them very quickly.
 
my news today:

a lawyer has charged me $424 for a piece of paper that took some office (oak-lined office, of course) clerk 15 minutes at most to type up.

I had to get some summer clothes out today. It's 80 degrees and humid!
