Why go elsewhere on TK when all I need is in the MF?
I don't go for the "MF vs. TK" dynamic, or the idea that the MF is an island.
Well, that's how you see it. I was pissed because the MF and BL are the two biggest fora on the board. It's enough to sift through either, let alone both at once. We share posters, but we also both have our own distinct styles.I don't either but I can see why some people say the MF is elitist. For example, the MF'ers seemed very upset that they had to mingle with the Badlands riffraff when Cow merged us into the Minelands, whereas the Badlanders welcomed the MF'ers with open arms.

I'm not surprised people didn't want them to mix. And I don't buy that all the BLers welcomed the merge with "open arms". That's painting a melodramatic picture of things, IMHO.
I don't call being pissed at the forced merge "elitist". If others see it that way, that's their problem.
Badlands got very elitist. Have you forgotten the official Badlands membership list?
LOL, I recall having a WTF moment, myself, before I remembered that we were dealing with Cow-antics. I also recall the uproar this particular move caused among some of the Badland's postersAnd I don't buy that all the BLers welcomed the merge with "open arms".
Dear, you're talking to Loktar. Of course that's a melodramatic picture he's paintingThat's painting a melodramatic picture of things, IMHO.
Oh, the fun we had... great times indeed. To be fair, that was more an orchestrated (and incredibly successful) troll begun by mm and perpetuated by yours truly than an organic growth internal and native to the Badlands.
