Solution:

1. Get rid of Tkarma.
2. (optional) Change the name of board. Why not the Minefield?
3. Move the Minefield to the Top Shelf
4. Move Bizarre Bazarre to directly below the Minefield.
5. Move QSF to Troll Kingdom Tradition.
5. Consider implementing Hambil's tags.
6. Stop banning people, just use DayCare the way it was meant to be used.
7. Somebody write up the FAQ so that it has some personality.
8. More focus on various franchises. Like Star Trek. That stuff is popular, and brings in people.
9. If you want to retain a smidge of the trolling history of the board, bring in ebayID options.

The issue is that the way things are going, eventually there will be nobody posting outside of the Minefield. If that's what you want or don't care, then don't worry about making any changes.

My sentiments exactly. It is insular. I like checking it out and posting here, but it's protected territory essentially, as evidenced when the claws come out over certain infractions. If you want to see what TK rules really exist, break them in the MF.

That's how I look at it. But other than that, I love every one, and everything.
 
Hmmm. I didn't realize all of this conversation was going on.
Why not just call it the minefield and get rid of most of the other forums if they are not being posted in? We could have QSF, MF, BL and DC perhaps (if at all). Everything else can be just put into one forum for media, sports, technical.
Why force something to up hold a tradition? Thats like a father forcing its kids to do something traditional at Christmas when they don't want to. Sure they might be insolent brats, but perhaps they have some good ideas too and new traditions can be formed.

Once, I broke one of the unwritten rules of the MF and was mean to somebody, and I got negged by like a dozen people in one post.

I cried myself to sleep that night. The Minefield's justice is swift and uncaring.
