Didn't realise he was the guy in TNG who accused Riker of shagging his wife lol.

For a tenth of a second I thought this was Mitch McConnell and my gut reaction was "Jesus, FINALLY." I'm a little embarrassed, but only just a little.

I never did see the exorcist.

Yes several people make the obvious reply.

Robbie Robertson died. He was no Gary Coleman...

RIP Robbie. Besides having an awesome legacy with The Band and solo work, he was one of the lucky few who got an album produced with trademark lush worldy sounds by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois... (U2, Peter Gabriel and Bob Dylan were others)

If you haven't yet, watch "Once Were Brothers" about the Band and Robbie. It's a pretty perfect companion piece to the Last Waltz and tells that story from Robbie's perspective.

Michael Parkinson (88)

I kind of thought he was already dead. His shows with Billy Connolly were legendary.

Bringing lots of people out on social media.

That is damn sad. But boy, what a life.

We grew up with Parky. I remember Give Us a Clue being a staple on the box before the news. A true gentlemen and scholar and one of the finest interviewers, period.

And thank you for introducing the world to Billy. Rest easy sir and thanks for the memories.
:(

I preferred Wogan. (Obvioulsy Parky was a British institution I just have to DISRUPT THE PARADIGM sometimes.)

Parkinson was always happy to just sit back and let his guests talk, not one to make sure he was the most important person there like some other hosts.

YEAH, FUCK JONATHAN ROSS.

Bowie was his Yorkshire brother (love seeing Tom Hanks trying to even keep up at all)

Bob Barker (99).

RIP Bob Barker, I salute you with the most perfect tribute tweet imaginable:
