Well, they cancelled the class. Poot. I'll survive it though.

What I may not survive is this freaking flu I came down with at 4:30 p.m. this Friday afternoon. I'll be back later. Right now I'm not doing very well.
 
Well, my fever got so high I got a heat rash. Sore throat, aching ears, a freaking rash - I'm damned uncomfortable and in a pissy mood. Anybody want to bitch fight? I'm good for about 20-minute spurts before I have to go lay back down.

And, now that my weekend is almost over and I've accomplished absolutely nothing, I'm feeling much better. Yeah. Just in time to go back to work on Monday morning, bright and early.
 
Poor old dog. He is walking around pretty good. But, he started losing weight really fast. Somehow he picked up a bad case of worms. The medicine to get rid of the worms did a number on him. Took a few days to work, left him weak and confused too. Then, today he started eating again - 2 cans of wet food, a hamburger, and the KHC Wednesday night special - chicken fried steak with gravy, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy. Then, I had to go out for a couple of hours. When I got home, discovered he'd injured one of his front paws somehow - one nail is completely pulled out and the paw is sprained and swollen. Poor thing. Its always two steps forward, one step back.

I'm completely sleep deprived these days and not getting much of anything done. I have a new wardrobe, new shoes, a fancy new watch, and a new purse. I don't even have the energy to swap out my purses. It is time to hire a dog sitter.
 
Finally, the transcript with grades for the 2 classes I finished last month arrived in the mail today. A and A. Straight As so far. One more class and I'm finished with the program. Hopefully that class won't be cancelled again next session and I can finish this up. Yahoo.

And, it rained again today.
 
Yes, I know I have an LJ but that is where I put important stuff, like my movie reviews and political candidates research.
 
Well, I just thought that you would like to put this stuff about Tyler in your journal as well as in here since you have not updated the thing in a while..
 
I just want to know - who are all those people that read my LJ? They never write - just peek in. Peeping Toms is what they are. They want to know what I'm reading, what I'm watching, what is going on on my island. Then they skitter back into the darkness. I wonder - is there someone out there basing what they do with their free time on what I find interesting? Eek.
 
A truth about myself I realized today. I miss going to night school. My evenings are out of sync, there is something missing to the structure of my life. Boo hoo. *sob* I'm even drinking make believe alcoholic beverages all by myself on a message board. I may have to change my name, become Cola Girl or something. No. I refuse to let that happen. I'll play more chess. I'll read more. Hell ... I might even go into the kitchen and cook something. Cobwebs wash out of pots and pans. I can do it. I will do it. Right now, I'll do it.

Okay. Maybe I won't. I have ice cream. Who needs to eat anything but ice cream? Not me.

Thanks. I'll figure out what to do with my free nights by December and then I'll have to get back into the habit come January! I've already rediscovered television. Been watching "Nip Tuck" and really looking forward to the season premiere of "Lost" tomorrow night. Plus, I've become addicted to "CSI: Miami" - there's like 3 different CSI's and 6 years of shows to watch - feel almost like I've discovered something exciting.
 
I got the news in July. At first, I freaked. Then I was in denial. Then I accepted it. So, I have things to do, to finish. It has been fun. It has been different. Most of you I adore. But, I'm running out of time. Goodnight and goodbye.
 
I tried to go back to school a year or two ago. I was going to get a second BA in Geography.

But, when I applied, I got a letter saying that they needed my transcripts. When I called them up to tell them that all my education was at their school, they said "oh. Well, we don't allow second BAs". Which, I know they do, because it says that they do in their schedule of classes, and the cataloge.

Then the stupid bitch had the audacity to say to me "why do you want to come back, anyway, you already have a masters degree?" Stupid cunt - why does she care? I got in, not once, not twice, but THREE SEPERATE TIMES! Perhaps that's a sign that I like school or something? So, I crumpled up my acceptance letter, and threw it away.

Ah, well. At least I'm not bitter about it.
