Ohio court sides with NASCAR in broadcast tax challenge
At issue before the court was whether the state tax commissioner properly subjected those broadcasts to Ohio's commercial activities tax during an audit from 2005 to 2010. The tax requires payments on a company's annual sales.

Actor Frankie Muniz, who starred in "Malcolm in the Middle'' and "Agent Cody Banks,'' announced that he's competing as a full-time race car driver in the ARCA Menards Series.The series is a low-level feeder series for NASCAR.

The driver who many referred to as "Matt the brat" when he first broke into racing ranks 21st on NASCAR's career wins list. He won all of the sport's biggest races including the Daytona 500 in 2009 and 2012, the Coca-Cola 600, the Southern 500 and the All-Star race.
 
Alex Bowman signs 3-year extension with Hendrick Motorsports
Bowman, who missed five races late last season because of a concussion, starts his ninth season of Cup racing and his sixth full-time with Hendrick. Bowman has all seven of his Cup Series victories since 2019.

Hill won the Xfinity Series season-opening race Saturday night for the second consecutive year to diminish some of the sting the Richard Childress Racing driver felt two days earlier when he failed to qualify for the Daytona 500.
 
John Hunter-Nemechek wins delayed Xfinity race at Fontana
Nemechek is off to an outstanding start in his new full-time Xfinity seat for JGR, finishing second last week at Daytona. Nemechek led 49 of the 150 laps.

Kyle Busch takes Fontana for first win with Richard Childress Racing
Busch stormed up from the back after an early speeding penalty to earn his first victory for Richard Childress Racing, winning on this two-mile Southern California track for the fifth and final time.
