I liked the second episode enough to keep watching for a few more. I do suddenly recall Noah Wylie's character mentioning that his sudden 'frantic behavior' happens to every Librarian, which is a lie because Bob Newhart's Librarian was quite sedate and normal.

We got through 2 episodes of Ascension and are going to watch part 3 tonight. We weren't too hooked at first but about halfway through the first episode we got hooked. I like Tricia Helfer too. Seems she gets cast as a sexy, seductive 'villian' all the time. good for her, she's gorgeous and should run with that as long as it holds up!
 
People on TrekBBS (my source for tv opinions) were saying Ascension didn't have a proper ending. Is it a one-off mini series or are there going to be more?
 
They want it to be a series, that's why they left the cliffhanger. They were trying to copy BSG IMO. It's not a great show, though.
 
I watched the fourth episode of The Librarians just because there was nothing else on. I don't think I'll be watching more. It was way too silly. I know it was supposed to be silly, but there's silly and there's...silly. Or somethinng. I guess I have a new appreciation for Max Headroom's performance in Orphan Black as he must have been completely toning himself down.
 
I'm just going to blame the super silliness on it being the Christmas episode, even though it's pretty silly anyway. I will keep watching as long as it doesn't have competition or if I can't take it anymore. IT COULD HAPPEN.
 
I watched the new episode as well. I didn't know what was going on half the time but I still watched it so maybe it's entertaining. It was funny how as soon as Cassandra turned evil she decided to show her sexy stomach. Did Max Headroom not die last week because he's a dragon and he flew away? I don't know lol. Noah Wyle seems to be trying to act like The Doctor but he's really not.
 
I would appreciate this show much more if Noah and the guardian would just DO IT ALREADY.
 
You'd think the guardian lady would know better, OR AT LEAST ONE OF THE GENIUSES.
 
I think that was one of the better The Librarians episodes, OR I have numbed myself to the stupid. WHICHEVER. It was cute anyway.

Should we start a The Librarians thread? OR WILL YOU QUIT WATCHING THE MINUTE IT'S CREATED? :rwmad:
 
...well since you haven't start a thread yet, I guess I'll talk about it here? Umm, it was another crazy silly episode. I guess it's a crazy silly show. It was entertaining. But I wouldn't really mind if I never watched it again. The Australian guy's acting is kind of bad. He doesn't really seem like a MASTER THIEF. Does Cassandra have magic powers now or did she already have them OR WHAT?
 
Sorry, I forgot to make a thread. I'LL DO IT NEXT WEEK, IMO.

Maybe she does have magic now, but I don't think she did all along. Probably something to do with magic being loose in the world.

I know people love VERONICA MARS (it's by the same guy) but it looks pretty shit!
 
Some reviewers are saying that iZombie is good, but I don't plan to watch it. I'm just not into th ezombie craze and I never have been and I will be glad when it's OVER. :rwmad:

The show is definitely gonna be terrible, but I bet the Friday night wrestling matches are fun to go to.
