I just read about Warehouse 13 being renewed for a 5th and FINAL season. The 5th season will only be 6 episodes. I guess the ratings went in the shitter after the season premiere, which had very high ratings (for SyFy). I never could get into Warehouse 13, but that show is so much better than most of the garbage on the SyFy channel. Pretty soon there won't be anything remotely resembling science fiction on SyFy.
They went very dark with their main story arc... I think most people watched it because it was goofy and fun so maybe the death of one of the characters turned some viewers off.
Or maybe they didn't go dark enough. Blew up the warehouse last season and killed alot of the characters but then had Artie use the astrolabe to reset time.
How much darker could they go? Artie was turned into a psychopath that unleashed a deadly disease upon the world and then killed one of his closest friends. A little rape and torture maybe?
Dome looks interesting, but Stephen King tv adaptations have such an awful track record it's difficult to be too enthusiastic. I can't help thinking 13 episodes gives it a really long time to get slow and boring.
Intelligence wouldn't seem promising if it didn't have Josh Holloway in it. Haven't we had enough of CSI procedurals with silly gimmicks?
Wacky, I can see Rachel in Reign, but is the other Neighbours person Lolly? If so, she's... all grown up. Looks abysmal. Sausageman's show of the summer.
A zombie show! I think it's really a 3 episode long mini series. Has it already aired in the UK? Anyway, it looks kinda interesting. I'm not really into zombies, but BBCA has been advertising the shit out of this during Orphan Black and now I'm INTRIGUED.
The zombie one looks good and so does the Once upon a time show. I'll also try to remember to watch the Dome, but frankly my record for remembering to watch tv is abysmal.
Well, I love James Spader and I'll probably watch that too... BUT it looks like another one of those very implausible kinds of shows that are popular right now.
For anyone who likes anime, I've started watching Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin), which is quite good so far. Giants attack a medieval civilisation, breaking through 50 foot walls and devouring the inhabitants. A young boy vows to avenge the gobbling up of his mother. Anyway, it looks lovely.
Here's the full trailer for The 100 (I don't know why I post these things when I'll never watch it BUT WHATEVEr.)

So it's actually a faily interesting premise but made uninteresting by all the characters being young CW pretty people (even Janae's mother only looks about 30.)
