New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was fined for unnecessary roughness on three different plays in the teams 24-12 victory over the Buffalo Bills last Sunday--a rare trifecta that will cost him $63,504.

The three fines on Sunday were for $10,026, $26,739 and $26,739. Edelman was also fined $26,739 in the Patriots win over the Bills on Oct.29.
 
New York Giants top pick Saquon Barkley set a rookie running back record when he caught his 89th reception of the season against Dallas.

Sorry NFL. Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley has agreed to a contract extension with the Sooners.

Riley lead Oklahoma to the CFP in his first two seasons as head coach while mentoring Heisman Trophy winners Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray.

Details of the contract extension will be finalized this Monday.
