TK WAS VERY BRINK OF EXTINCTION. FIRST ELOISEL'S SQUADS CAME AND STARTING HACKING INTO MY COMPUTER. I ACTIVATED THE SPECIAL FIREWALL I PURCHASED JUST FOR THIS WAR !! SUDDENLY, OUT OF NOWHERE THE SKANS RODE IN ON HORSEBACK AND ANNIHILATED THEIR ARCHERS AND PRESENT SUBPEONAS TO ELOISEL'S HACK-GOONS. IN RETALATION, ELOISEL CRASHED TK, SMASHING THE INBOXES AND RELEASING HUNDRED OF PMS ON TO THE FORUM. DID YOU KNOW HENOCH IS ACTUALLY STRAIGHT?!?! HE AND 10 OTHERS LEFT IN A HUFF AND DELETED ALL OF THEIR POSTS WHILE DOING IT.

I watched the DaVinci Code. Fraught with horrible historical and oecumenical mistakes. I've read all of the gnostic gospels and I know a lot about the Knights Templar, Illuminati, Freemasons, et al. This movie couldn't be more incorrect if it tried.

I was going to give you 20 points, but you had to add that last little bit about GB being a moron. See Rules of Engagement, Rule #1 - Messenger always lies. It cost you 5 points for trying to deceive people by telling the truth.

I missed the boat. I slow-cooked the sauce, and the pasta took forever to boil past the al dente stage.

MESSENGER always lies? Damn, but I need him to join my Nazi propaganda ministry. We could use someone who is capable of lying at the drop of a hat. He displays an incredible ability to adapt his lies to various environments. I will offer him a job, since he has not had one for years. It will prove difficult to pry him from Uncle Sam's welfare teat.

The best trick with pasta is to add a quarter-sized dollop of salt. But, do it right before the water boils. Be careful, because if you don't have a quality steel pot, you could end up pitting the surface of the pot.

Never add oil to the pasta water.

Also, to check the pasta just take out one noodle and cut it in half with a fork. If there's still white on the inside, it's not ready yet. When the white disappears, it's past al dente.

If the pasta's taking a really long time to cook and your sauce starts to reduce, just take some of the pasta water and add it to the sauce. That should 'stretch' the sauce and add a good salty flavor to it.

Hey, he is no asshole. If people bought his shit, that's their problem. He did not force the novel down their fucking throats.

That wasn't a spoiler. It's well-known, even to people like myself who haven't read the book, that the Catholic Church and the Knights Templar are parts of the plot.

The spoiler would be to say that...

Sophie is the last scion of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdelene.

No, he's an asshole because he writes this book acting like an expert on the gnostic texts and the history of the Knights Templar when he's really not.

Even that isn't much of a spoiler. It is pretty obvious early on that that is where they are going with the story.
