It always was in this state. As long as you were in your house our outdoors of course. Indoors was a different matter and "hygiene theater" was the problem. No one in power had a fucking clue what was going on. In these parts you didn't do what you were told. You got all the information and made your own decisions. I followed the suggested protocols from the getgo and I watched people get very sick from it in my community because they didn't. In that regard it was JUST like the flu, which basically disappeared this season. Only this "flu" was drastically different, as you know.
I don't see any mandates more severe than seat belts when driving, or any other mandate which we get fined for if we don't follow. There's a fuckton of those orders already.
No shirt no shoes no service. That's pretty much the lay of the land these days. I never go indoors in a place that isn't where I live without a mask.
