He liked chocolate ice cream.

He was a chocoalte ice cream thief.

He was about 10 years old when he came to live with us.

He had been a garbage eating stray that walked into the yard and decided to stay.

He was mellow and got along well with my other dog, Max. So, I had Tigger and Max.

Max I only had about 12 years.

 

[eloisel]

But, Tigger, I had him for about 17 years.

 

[eloisel]

He was bald, lost most of his teeth, could hardly see.

 

[eloisel]

And he didn't smell real good either.

 

[eloisel]

I'd think - "it is time to put him down."

 

[eloisel]

Then some bitch down the street would go into heat.

 

[eloisel]

That old dog would be out the dog door, across the enclosed back patio, dig a hole through the kennel wall, climb over the 5 foot fence around the yard and be down the street after her.

I'd find him at the dog pound - "Ma'm, what is wrong with that dog?"

"He's 27 years old in human years - about 165 in dog years."

"Oh"

Anyway.

Sometimes I'd sit out on the porch with him and let him have some chocolate ice cream too.

He liked it.

Then,

one day,

a friend of my daughter's was at the house.

She opened the front door to go out to her car and Tigger followed her outside.
