The Walking Dead season 2

"WE SHOULD KILL HIM!"
"NO LET'S NOT"
for like 35 mins, then they actually decide, then Carl runs it at JUST THE RIGHT TIME to render the whole episode's arguing worthless and then something interesting happens and the episode ends.

I like it when things happen in the show but really now can we have a show where it's not 90% arguing about nothing and 10% "HERE'S A ZOMBIE TO PUT IN THE TRAILERS".

Yeah, mixed feelings about this episode.

I haven't bought their concern about Randall right from the beginning, so opening another episode (and then spending a good 15 minutes) treating him like shit just made me hate everyone. Surely it's not the writers' intention to make us root for the zombies? I mean, like I probably said last week, I can understand them being cautious, but c'mon, he owed them his life AND he was disabled, it really wouldn't have done them any harm to keep him around for a while, setting him on menial tasks and keeping him on a tight leash. If not that, then fine, drop him off somewhere remote. As long as Lori's not driving and nobody decides to pick an argument about adultery next to some spooky abandoned buildings, it's really a relatively safe option.

Anyway, I liked Carl, but then they made him into Damien. Thanks for that.

And I liked Daryl, but then they made him into a torturer.

And Dale was my favourite character, so... I dunno, the ending certainly kept me in suspense and I gave a shit about what was happening for sure, but I don't see how I'll be able to enjoy the show anymore.

You're all being obtuse. Vehicles are vehicles and for the most part, this is how it was written. Please stop criticizing what's going on for being faithful to the ESSENCE of the graphic novels, which IMHO is my humble opinion.

'Specially after last night, motherfuckers.

Remember the week before last (19 miles out) when shane watches the walker in the field as they drive each way?

Best two moments of tv ever imo

Surprised noone has bumped this yet today.

Good episode last night. Shane is dead(Walking Dead comic fans rejoice), twice. Killed by Rick, zombie Shane killed by Carl. YAY!

Forest filled with zombies. UH-OH!

Randall killed by Shane. BOO!

That is all for now.

No one ever watches Karl.

Those woods were empty one minute, the next there's hundreds of zombies.

Did Karl walk by them all?

Didn't Daryl and Glen see them?

Shane was getting repetitive so they had to kill him really.

Why did T-Dogg stay back with the women and the old man instead of helping.

FINALE NEXT WEEK?

Yeah, it wasn't baaaaad. Unfortunately for me a friend really hyped it up, so I was expecting a fullscale invasion of the farm, only for it to mostly be more angst. I did like the way it was shot and I did like a few bits and bobs, like the scene with Glenn and Andrea, the reference to the Dale Face and the fact that T-Bloke actually got some lines.

The ending was spoilt a bit by Sudden Zombie Syndrome, and also by Rick somehow forgetting that dead people come back to life in this show about zombies. I suppose we can forgive him for that since it was his best friend/unhinged nemesis, though.

I didn't know Darryl had a bike. He's even cooler than I thought.

Next week sounds like it'll be pretty darn awesome, anyway.

Well, up until now they didn't know that anyone who dies automatically comes back as a zombie. They believed that only those bitten by zombies were infected. Of course Rick should have known since it's what CDC guy whispered to him last season (I would assume.)

I cant wait for Michael Rookers character to reappear :bigass: My nickel says he's the leader of that Gang of Thirty.

Just saw Sunday's episode. 2 things.

1. wtf
2. What. The. Fuck.

ok, so now that we're completely off the gn story arc, how do we get to the Governor's mansion?

Guess we'll see next week?

No one? Good episode!

Very good episode.

"Jesus promised a resurrection of the dead... I just thought he had somthing a little different in mind."

"Send me a POSTCARD!"

Darryl doesn't really say or do that much, but whatever he does do is always incredibly watchable. He's got to be the most realistic character of them all, aside from Glenn perhaps.

Andrea's shooting skills have become ridiculous. I know in the comics she's some kind of sharpshooting badass, but in the show's timeline she's barely been using a gun for a month, surely? If it'd been much more then Lori's bump would have started showing.

I can't believe they killed off Jimmy and Patricia after investing so much time in their character development!

The introduction of whoever it is from the comics was really, really cool, and for a non-comic reader it was a bit of a WTF moment. The proximity of the big compound thing (looked like a prison to me) is unlikely, but oh wells.

I was liking it up until the end.

I mean yeah it was basically "the zombies kill of the characters the writers forgot to develop" but still it was something at least!

Then for some reason everyone turns on Rick in like 5 minutes and he goes "WELL FUCK Y'ALL THEN I'LL BE HITLER" and there's a ninja.

I laughed when everyone kept driving away without Andrea.

At least Beth survived!

I guess "the ninja" works better in the comic than on tv. But isn't it better to have some wackiness than just people bitching and moaning all the time?

Yes it was a prison at the end.

ZOMBIE BABY

I too enjoyed Andrea being left behind. Yeah, we saw her go down.
Totally agree about Darryl.

I know who the ninja is, so it was great to see them.
