The Walking Dead season 2

I hope people listen to Big Nose... I mean, he's a terrible person and normally I'd want him to die, but this is like a bad series of BB where you need the arseholes to stay in to keep it interesting because everyone else is nice or has some boring relationship and the tasks (zombies) seem to have been completely forgotten about!
 
That's what happens when there's too few zombies about. Silly social situations become priority. Then your cool show goes to shit. Then when you have to add extra zombies to make your shitty show float, it just looks sort of sad and desperate.
 
Is Big Nose Shane? I can't remember. His big rant at the end of the last episode was really good. Of course he then showed himself to be a hypocrite by not shooting a little girl zombie. But he keeps things interesting.
 
SO that was an okay episode. Lori was annoying. I liked when Daryl called her "Olive Oyl". And when she crashed her car.

The last scene was good. It was tense. I liked it. Hope they don't spend the next four episodes saying "Rick, you killed two guys!" though.
 
Posting about the NEW EPISODE IN THIS THREAD.

I thought it was pretty much dull for most of it - same old people yelling at each other generally about nothing very interesting, no zombies in a show about zombies, and a comedy car crash for Rick's wife.

But then those guys came along and it suddenly got really good, we found out about what's happening in the rest of the world, we found out that really the group's plan is useless, and we're really not sure whether or not to trust them.

And then Rick shoots them and I'm sure it'll be back to normal next episode.


I liked it when there were, like zombies and stuff. Remember the zombies? They were cool.
 
Is it really that crowded at Herschel's farm?

It seemed to me they could've tried to accomodate the new guys and their group before telling them no.

What a bunch of selfish assholes.

Also Shane needs to fucking die already.
 
the fact that I have three unwatched episodes on my computer, when I was a HUGE fan of the series, speaks volumes. In the first season this was can't miss television. But now it's just LOST with no cool mystery or time travel. Bunch of sweaty, angry people with secrets, meaningful looks and endless marches through the woods.

The new guys who hinted they would kill them and take the farm and rape their women, you mean?
 
And the one guy did have the nasty habit of pissing indoors. No one wants that in the farm house.

Seriously, inviting home guys who put that vibe off is only going to lead to someone else wearing your skin for a jacket.

I'm wondering how much of the info these guys gave about the outside world can be trusted.
 
I was excited to see René and liked that whole tense scene, but then they killed him!! Gah.

Other than that not much happened, and there wasn't even any implication that something would be happening soon. And it only just occurred to me that we're supposed to care about Lori's crash because she's pregnant. Well, rather than hoping she's ok because I care about the character, I only hope she's ok because I can't be bothered to watch the episode when they find out she's miscarried and Rick sulks and sobs and Dale says something wise that eventually convinces him to lead the group again. We've seen that already.
 
Oh, that's who he was. Thought he looked familiar. It is kind of a shame they they killed a good actor after ten minutes of screentime.
 
I kinda want her to die in the car crash. I just roll my eyes when she's on the screen.

And booooooooooooooooo to killing Rene. Can't catch a break.
