The Walking Dead season 2

Could Andrea have been any more obvious with her "Yeah, I totally just got fucked" look? Still don't have strong feelings about her. Liked Amanda better. Which was probably the point.

I'm glad the Shane/Lori affair is out in the open. I figured Rick had to know and that was why he kept trying to lighten the mood when he was around Shane. Or maybe I'm just reading into things.

Glen's luck is gonna run out soon. How many times can you be dangled in front of a zombie and not get bit? I hope he stands up for himself and tells them all to go fuck themselves if they ask him to put his life at risk again.

Not enough Darryl.

Yeah, I'm so glad the Lori/Shane thing is sorta over. I guess it's good that they kept it going for a long while, as that was more realistic, but anything involving Lori bores me, so it was a pain.

Carl was almost back to normal, that's a conveniently fast recovery in time for shooting practice!

I like that they're turning Andrea into the version of her from the comics but it might be a little forced. IMDb is full of gun experts complaining about her sudden skillz.

WHEN'S SOMETHING GONNA HAPPEN

Next episode's the MID SEASON FINALE so I except a shocking cliffhanger like T-Dawg and that blond girl being bitten by a zombie on a tractor.

It was nice of the Sophia Zombie to wait until last to come out. Even in death she understood dramatic irony.

Good episode since things actually happened and the plot moved on. I guess Otis put Sophia in the barn and died before telling anyone? Even so, Glen was in the barn and saw the zombies so I guess he just missed the little blond one.

Did they have to have Heshel eating in that scene with Rick? I find eating noises more disgusting than zombie children getting their brains blown out.

Oh hey that ending was really good I'm glad the show is getting better now, I'm looking forward to the next epis- FEBRUARY?!

When will TV channels learn that when you make an episode of a show that makes people want to watch more, you should, like, keep showing episodes.

Mmm. Silly billies. All that ramping up of the tension/action/whatever will be but a glimmer of a memory by 3 months away.

I actually liked Shane in this episode, even if I'd rather follow Rick if I had the choice. Rick's more predictable, or at least when he does do something unexpected, it's not likely to be shooting someone in the legs so zombies will eat them. But Shane had the right idea about going on the offensive for once, rather than moping around and getting attacked.

I'm not sure what to make of Zombie Sophia. On the one hand, it was a bit of a cheap move that you could guess was coming, but I did like how it put the gang into the same position as Herschel.

All in all it wasn't a mind blowing episode, but I can see how the slow buildup to this was a good idea in theory. They just should've found a way to put a few more action scenes in there to keep us going. I mean, I think there was one episode that only had a single zombie in it. Wtf?

I know the guy playing Shane is only acting, but damn he is one scary angry fucker.

Didn't Rick shoot a little girl in the first episode too?

I still feel sort of cheated over the whole Sophia thing, but in reality I guess she wouldn't have been able to survive that long on her own. I was still hopeful.

Shane IS a crazy fucker, and as much as Lori bores me to tears, she better hope he believes that he's not the father. STALK MUCH

I think its fairly safe to say, noone is guaranteed to stay alive in the show because they do in the comic.

She's actually the first Walker you see in the barn.

yes, along with "half-a-neighbor lady"

On AMC's website there is a nifty series of original webisodes that tell the story of the half lady, who is officially known as "bicycle lady zombie". There are six of them behind the link, and they tell her whole story from start to finish. It's pretty interesting, it lags in the middle but the story has legs (LOL see what I did there?)
