The Walking Dead season 2

No one had a personal connection with black woman, as she'd only had about six lines the whole season.

Lori is still a bitch and Andrea is worse. For someone who wants to die she sure fights for her life whenever zombies attack. At least Maggie has potential to be the first likable female character. I liked her horse riding zombie attack. Darryl seemed to too?

I hope T-Dawg dies.

The cliffhanger was good in a "how are you they going to get out of that?" way.

I kept thinking Maggie was played by Anne from Neighbours Anne Wilkinson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia but they're completely different ladies.

It was a good ep. I love any scenes with Dale and found what T-Bone had to say interesting and the "black guy always dies first" thing wasn't too fourth wall breaking, but it's a shame that the one time he gets some lines he's talking about being black, as if it's literally his only trait.

Darryl's probably my fave character right now even though he hardly ever gets to say anything. You'd expect him to be acting out and breaking the group apart, but instead he's probably the only one with his head still screwed on. Plus he kills zombies in cool ways.

Surely they could've killed all the zombies by letting some of the petrol out of the police car, getting a little distance away, attracting the zombies to the car with a flare and then setting light to the petrol to blow them all up. No? Well that's what I would've done if I was awesome. And sneaky. You've gotta be sneaky in an apocalypse.

Good cliffhanger! Although I was a bit unclear about why they couldn't go through whatever doors must be behind them.

They do look alike, yes!

Darryl seems to be the breakout character (IRONIC SINCE HE WASN'T IN THE COMIC?) but it's a shame Glen isn't getting more to do. He was popular in the first season. Dale is definitely one of the better actors, along with Andrew Lincoln and the guy playing Hershel seemed quite good.

That scene in the forest where Lori and Andrea and the mom are talking about Sophie, and he comes in gets in their face is awesome. But we couldn't figure out if he said "Am I the only one sane around here?" Or "Am I the only one zen around here?" Either one works.

And he could have been a dick and withheld the drugs from the guy who lost the key to make his brother cut his hand off. But he didn't.

I couldn't tell if he said Zen or not either, but since he was on the subject of religion and faith I guessed that was it.

Speaking of Zen (Sorry)

I watched Sinbad just for this hottie. Sorry I hijacked the thread.

The Shane part of the story was really good...

And he only killed a fat guy, so it's not like he's totally irredeemable! He didn't kill a hot girl or anything.

The "missing Sophia"/"Karl's been shot!" stuff has gone on long enough, really. He should get better now, but they need to find her next episode or encounter her zombie.

All the scenes with people questioning if they want to live or not are dragging a bit, but it's natural that they would be talking like that so I don't know what the solution is.

The solution I would've given if I were Rick would've been that we don't know how long the zombies can survive. Even if they don't require or gain any sustenance from the food they still seem to be rotting and they must be getting eaten by animals as well, so even though there are millions of them now, there could still be a bright future for Carl's generation.

Anyway, aside from Darryl and Andrea's scene I thought it was a pretty boring episode up until the ending. I was looking forward to Shane turning into a zombie and buggering off when we saw the graze, so I could've been disappointed by the twist, but no, it was very well done. Made up for the rest of the ep for me.

OTIS DIDN'T DIE LIKE THAT IN THE COMICS by the way! I'm sure there's some outraged comic book Otis fans out there.

Shane's gone P S Y C H O

His body is ripped, though...too bad about the face. LoL. Darryl remains my favorite character. I thought he was gonna badmouth the mom for crying, but instead he goes out and looks for Sophie some more.

Shane could at least have shot the fat guy in the head, instead of leaving him to get eaten alive.
