The Walking Dead season 7

I like that they're being a bit kooky, but that lot are like the people in Beneath the Planet of the Apes who worshipped an atomic bomb. Except they haven't had thousands of years to develop their weird language, clothes and names. They've had, what? Five years?

This week was pretty decent, though. A good mixture of different storylines and characters. I found the Eugene/Dwight episode quite dull.

I thought this week's was probably the best episode of the season, mainly because the guy who plays Morgan is a really good actor and was genuinely quite scary when he went nuts.

It was by far the best episode this season IMO as well. Well, I really enjoyed the second episode too for some reason. And the Eugene episode was good too. The thing is, now that Carol's ready to fight, do they really need King Goofball, or the junkyard tards?

Okay, to be fair, the last episode was so good I even enjoyed Ezekiel. He's not so bad, really.

I liked that the Saviour guy wasn't really evil and didn't actually want anyone to die (of course his rat-faced helper loved killing kids.)

Yea, I expect will be seeing more interesting things from the reluctant saviour.... Maybe he'll become one of those who will help destroy them from within.

And if he gets featured alot in the beginning of a episode you know he's gonna die, of course.

I think Dwight & Eugene team up and go at Negan from the inside too. Eugene has the ability to come up with something sneakily lethal and Dwight has the motivation. What if Dwight's wife is seen alive? Then Negan would do very bad things to Dwight and to her. Question is, since that whole group is Negan, would it end the crisis just chopping off the head?

And back to the usual this week.

So Sasha stops Rosita running in because it's a stupid plan to run in by yourself...then just runs in by herself. Because...reasons? I don't even remember Sasha and Abraham being "together" properly (I remember them smiling at each other in a car once?)

There's only two doctors and they're brothers? I guess at least it explains why Negan knew he could kill the other doctor, his brother doctor was still alive.

Why the fuck doesn't Maggie have a pregnancy bump.

It is interesting how they are pairing the members of Ricks group. Morgan and Carol. Sasha and Rosita. Daryl and Maggie. Rick and MIchonne. Then all the groups coming together. Looking forward to how this season plays out and what the cliff hanger is for next season.

Eugene could still be surprising. He is a chicken at heart but he has overcome his fear a time or two in the past.

We won't see Sasha again until she's used as a zombie decoy in the war.

She took Holly's place (in the comics) on the show.(the chick Abraham left Rosita for) That was Holly's fate in the comic, Zombie decoy.

Plus it gives her time to film Star Trek, and she won't have but (most likely) one more appearance on TWD.

The episode was mostly about her, Dead giveaway she's getting killed off. Well, you know, besides the fact she ran into the Saviour's compound all alone.

Also what do Sasha and Rosita think is going to happen if they kill Negan? The rest of the Saviours will just shrug and say "we're friends now!" not just kill all their friends for revenge?

There's a few options..

1. They're overconfident in their friends ability to win any fight.
2. They think the Saviours will disband without Negen.
3. They think they're all gonna get killed by the Saviours eventually anyway. Thus, the "Go down fighting the way Abraham would've" line uttered by Rosita. They rather live on their feet than die on their knees, even if it gets their friends killed, who they think are doomed anyway.
4. They just dont give a fuck.
5. Shitty writing.

This episode was a fucking mess.

Rick steals a load of guns from a bunch of women and children, leaving them defenceless, but even Tara says "YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT EVERTHING, RICK, AS ALWAYS" and I guess the audience is supposed to agree?

Negan becomes more of a cartoon character every episode. Why would he leave Sasha alive when she tried to murder him five minutes ago? We know she isn't going to join him so all the scenes with her felt like a waste of time.

Why was Maggie doing gardening outside the walls anyway.

Because Maggie wanted blueberries!!!1!

Yeah, I think TWD is starting to take neste plunge towards mediocrity.

I have low hopes for the season finale.
