The Walking Dead season 7

I thought it was a good episode, but only by TWD standards. That means it had more than one storyline and a few zombie fights.

Every time Negan's on screen it becomes harder to understand why no one has killed him. He's not very physically powerful, he's kind of getting on a bit and he's constantly getting his people killed, if not killing them himself. There can't be a man left in the saviours who hasn't seen a friend murdered by Negan. How can no one have taken revenge?

I'm sick of Eugene.

Maggie nearly had a miscarriage and now she's kneeling down gardening and fighting zombies. That kids gonna be a weird shape.

All the Sasha flashbacks/dreams were confusing and annoying. The music seemed to be trying REALLY HARD to make you care about what was happening at the end but I didn't? Maybe I'm dead inside. Maybe the real walking dead was me all along.

Turns out it was a really bad idea to trust weirdos who live in a garbage dump. Who could have predicted!

How did the tiger know which people to attack?

While I was satisfied overall with the episode, the show' s quality has definitely took a hit these couple seasons. The writing isn't great. I was kinda sad to see Sasha go, but we saw it coming a mile away, so it lacked any real impact emotion wise. I'll be tuning in next season for sure. I still follow the comic somewhat so I like to see where both series end due to all the years invested in both. That being said, my anticipation also wanes with each passing season. I suspect both comic, and show have a couple years left, at best.

One thing that still intrigues me is how will the show follow the comic storyline after the Saviour war is over.

(Spoliers,kinda)

In The comic the story jumps ahead 3 years or so after the final battle with Negan. So I wonder what approach the show will take in this regard.

I wanted the tiger to eat Negan. I wanted Sasha to eat Negan More than likely Eugene will eat Negan next season. Two birds. One stone.

Good question on how the tiger knew who to attack. More than likely the King directed and tiger obliged.

They've needed to do a time jump for a while to explain Karl's aging. But it'll be like six months in show rather than three years or whatever.

The battle was obviously pretty good. The nature of Sasha's death took me by surprise and was a pretty clever scheme of hers. And the tiger showing up was really cool.

The flashbacks bored me and reminded me why I didn't like Abraham. I think he said "meatus" at one point.

Weird how Mishonne was in bed recovering at the end, but Rick wasn't, despite being shot (and remember when he had a hole in his hand?).

Maggie continued to run around yelling and fighting despite being pregnant of course as well.

What happened to Gregory? Everyone just acted like Maggie was the leader of Hilltop here but I don't remember him stepping down.

I think the scene where Maggie and the rest of Hilltop learn that Gregory never killed a zombie symbolized her taking over the leadership from Gregory.
