It was better than Bumblebee and I saw it in 3-D. Nice surprising possible movie crossover setup at the end.

To be fair, it's hard to top "Bumblebee." It's a much smaller film, so they can focus more on the human actors instead of GIANT CGI ROBOT FIGHTS. It is a period piece, tapping into '80s nostalgia, and it basically rips off "E.T." If you're gonna steal, steal from the best.
