True Blood "Beyond Here Lies Nothin" PLUS S2 analysis AND advance S3 squee-ness

*Swoons*

I bet they're upset they didn't get his dick in frame!

he seems to be getting it nice and clean.

I just can't stop watching....

I. know. what. you. mean.

TRUE BLOOD WON AN EMMY LAST NIGHT even though it was a weird audience-voted one for Breakthrough Performance of the Year.

"The first time Sookie met Bill" was the outstanding moment of the television season according to viewers who voted. It beat out the naming of the American Idol winner, the moment Melissa got dumped on The Bachelor, and the Obama Inauguration.

BONC! :sarek:

That is...weird.

LOL! there was an Emmy award for the Obama Inaguration!?!?!?!

- but i am glad TB won an Emmy, however weird the audience!

I don't think that was even that good a scene, but I'm not complaining.

I know, eh? Of all the scenes to pick...ah, well, as you say...at least it's an Emmy....

Never underestimate the power of a fangirl and thier love for BROODING VAMPIRES.

I thought it was funny that during a sequence of drama clips, from shows like Lost and The Mentalist, TB and BSG (two shows the emmy's snubbed) got the biggest applause from the audiance.

Deep down, we're all a bunch of vampire fangirl loving cylons who want Baltar to fuck us.

Oh yeah, it's a FUCKDAMN DISGRACE that BSG didn't get nominated for anything. Edward James Olmos, Michale Hogan, James Callis and Katee Sachoff should have won ALL THE ACTING AWARDS BETWEEN THEM!![/Henoch]

I thought it was nominated for special effects, but didn't win. Doug Drexler posted something about it on his blog.

Well it should have won that too.

Heroes won.

WHAT? For its special effects which are SO AMAZING that the big action scenes have to take place behind closed doors?

The effects in Daybreak were movie quality.

I agree, but unfortunately Daybreak wasn't nominated (because they nominate episodes, not a whole series) and it was a less impressive ep I suppose. Not sure what ep of Heroes got nominated, but some do have great effects. It's just a shame they tend to be used in place of character development and sensible plots.
