I missed the first 2 eps, but watched the first ten minutes of tonight's while waiting for Dancing With the Washed Up and Wannabee Stars.
Love Elizabeth Mitchell, but I can't take Scott Wolf from Party of Five as an "influential" news reporter.
I think the Juliet Smirk is definitely the Eliz. Mitchell smirk. She had it when she was Carrie Weaver's first lezbeen lover on ER, way back in the 20th Century.
The only inkling I had was that he was listed as a guest actor, so I thought there might be a possibility he'd get killed off. When he returned in the second ep I hoped he'd be a main character.
Good ep over all, seemed to move the plot ahead quite well and provide a few insights. When Erica was in the V's surveillance room I expected her to see Supergirl's camera pointed at her son, but their actual meeting was a less predictable option.
What was with that guy (Aaron?) being turned to dust? Is that what happens when they die?
Another good episode this week, with THINGS HAPPENING.
The coincidence of thingamy's girlfriend being the son's therapist is pretty silly. Unless she's a V as well, and that explains the pregnancy. Maybe she's a sleeper and doesn't know it or something.
The thing with the flu injections will no doubt excite some conspiracy theorists who will claim the entire show is supporting their views. Interesting development, though.
Cool ending with the scary looking spaceship armada.
Another actor from Stargate turned up... the guy who got skinned is the scientist whose body Eli jumped into a couple of weeks back.
I wonder what Erica's son's purpose is? Maybe the first marriage between a human and a V?
Yes, it was a good episode, but they really should have shown more than four episodes before taking it off until FUCKNIG MARCH. I'll have forgotten everything by then.
But it's a good show and I'll enjoy it when it returns, I'm sure. Really like Elizabeth Mitchell as the lead and Morena Baccarin is excellent and creepy as Anna (I found it sexy when she said "skin him" WHICH SAYS A LOT ABOUT ME.) There's lots of interesting ways the plot could go. SO LET'S HOPE IT DOES, MOFOS.
Yeah, I'm pissed off that they're not showing anymore til March. I don't know what their logic is, but it's retarded to start building a show's fanbase only to take the thing off the air for months on end and then bring it back when many people will have forgotten all about it. Don't they want their shows to be successful?
