Wrestling?

CaptainWacky, I had a chance to work the WWE show in Seattle last week and I declined it. : (

LOL but the only reason I wanted to work it-other than the money is great! (stage crew service) was to come back and tell you all about it!

It would have been fun! DO IT NEXT TIME (if you want.)

I wish I'd posted about Summerslam before the board went down. All I can remember about it now is lots of German suplexes.

Following his skit with the Bellas on WWE RAW Monday, WWE announced on TV that Jerry Springer suffered bruised ribs and a twisted ankle when the Bellas and Stephanie McMahon rolled over on him. Springer went out on a stretcher and seemed embarrassed by it.

lol

Another former wrestler dead at a young age.

Former WCW, WWF, K-1 and Pride fighter Sean O'Haire is reported to have passed away yesterday at his home in Spartanburg, SC, by Floyd's North Church Street Chapel in the city.

Real name Sean Christopher Haire, the former wrestler was 43, and has a celebration of life scheduled on Saturday at his home.

He seemed to have a lot of potential when he joined WWE, then just disappeared.

I watched the latest NXT special. Not as good as prevous specials, really. The first hour was a bit boring. I liked Kenta's debut on the whole. He has charisma. Divas match was good but as good as Natayla/Charlotte on the last special. Main event was good but where do they go from here? Bull Dempsey as a challenger?

Wait a sec... The Jerry injury wasn't a work? Hahahaha... I remember seeing Steph corpsing, that's all I remember right now.

I will post a lot more about the recent product tomorrow.

Night Of Chimpions

Opener was good as the Usos can always be relied on and the Dust Brothers are very good too.

Cesaro/Shamus was great. Of course at the start I was thinking "the fans would be more into it if they hadn't jobbed Cesaro for months" but they got into it by the end. Cesaro still lost again, of course. He needs to actually win sometime.

Miz/Zigger was a good. I mean it was a Miz match so it was never going to be great. Commentators spent more time talking about some country singers no one gives a fuck about than the match.

Rusev/Henry was bad. Mark Henry is old and slow and needs to retire, sorry.

Ambrose elbow dropping a whole load of people was fun. This is the second time they've done this exact same thing with him and Rollins on ppv.

Jericho/Orton I didn't care about, but they did have a good match.

Divas match didn't have the crow into it at first, but they worked hard (even Nikki) and had a good match. But my girl Paige lost!? Paige and her pale breasts should always win.

So the main event...last month Lesnar just destroyed Cena. This time Cena uses the strategy of...hitting Lesnar more than he did last month. Okay. Match was good, yes, but another cheap finish and the STF still looks like shit.

WWE announced Monday that the U.K. network launch has been delayed "given discussions with potential partners" and that a new launch date will be announced by November 1st.

Translation: Sky are trying to work out a deal where they still have exclusive rights to the ppvs and get to charge full price.

Yeah I'm just going to keep posting in this thread even if no one reads it.

Hell In A Cell

Opener was the best match. But what was the point of it being two out of three falls when it was just the same length as a normal match? And of course Cesara can't even win one fall because he's never allowed to win ever.

Bellas match was surprisingly good. BRIE MODE.

Tag title match was good. Same match they always have really. Time to move on from this feud.

SPEAKING OF holy fuck I don't care about Cena/Orton. Announcers were trying to make out it was some classic but really it was just the usual "kicking out of each other's finisher a millions timeas" match as always.

Shamus/Miz was pretty worthless as a match but Mizdow continues to rule.

Rusev pretty easily destroys Big Show and Mark Henry by himself. How is he the heel again?

Paige/AJ is another match that's been done to death. Writers have no clue how to write women other than "bitches be crazy!" (or a Bella.)

Main event was pretty disappointing. Half of it was just them being carried out on stretchers, then fucking Kane still interferes, then A HOLOGRAM attacks Ambrose and lol I can't.
