4/23/07 - Meager windfall coming tomorrow, not today, so my computer purchase is pushed back a couple of days. I'll probably do it off the Dell site instead of in a store, since Dell offers XP on new systems again. So, off to work I go. Powerpoint awaits.

April 27/07:

had to be at the Crazy Highschool today BUT it's a Friday and a long weekend for the students so everyone was all [Gorillaz]I'M HAPPY [/Gorillaz]. yayness.

oddly, I have a craving for gyro.
 
April 27: Started reading The Chronicles of Amber.. it is kick ass. Waiting for my mom to bring my dog from the vet, he had surgery to remove a growth from one of his toes, and they think it might be cancer :( Also cooking some jasmine rice, and some black beans. NOT AN EXCITING DAY.
 
^ Hope it's not cancer, Cassie. Though, having it in a paw is probably one of the better places to have it. As far as having cancer goes.

27/4/7 - My mum came home from the hospital today. They flew her over then she got an ambulance from the airport. Weirdly she only needs crutches and can hobble along, thanks to screws in her hip. Looks like the folks had a brilliant holiday, apart from the broken hip thing.

Thanks for the doggy well wishes, he seems to be doing just fine. The lab results won't be back for a few days.. actually I have no idea how long that's gonna take.

I hope your mom keeps on rocking Fuddlemiff, sounds like she is doing great.

April 28: I mowed the lawn, and had a shower... NEVER SNEEZE WHILE WEARING A DUST MASK!!
 
Mowing and sneezing at the same time, then the shower. Then I took an allergy pill and became sleepy, and it was the kind that's not supposed to make you sleepy, but it did dammit. I KNOW THAT THE DESCRIPTION OF MY DAY HAS EXCITED YOU ALL.

OH I did mow with my new Cub Cadet lawn tractor, yes I proudly sport the Cub Cadet around the yard, I'd even drive the bitch to the store if I didn't think I'd get arrested... I could mow down the side of the highway and if anyone asked I could say I was just being a good citizen, probably get me a few days in the mental ward. I SHOULD DO IT! I wonder if you can get a DUI on a lawn mower?
 
It's not a sticker, it's paint.. I think. I haven't been picking at the decals, I'm just so glad to have a really nice lawn mower. I CAN MOW IN REVERSE!@! It also has cruise control, and the thing that starts the blades is a knob that you pull.. lol you push it back in to stop the blades. IT IS THE FANCIEST MOWER i'VE EVER HAD.

I know I got this mower a couple months ago, but I haven't really needed it till now. It's been so dry that the grass stopped growing.
 
4/28/07 - OD'd on conspicuous consumerism. Ordered the new laptop online overnight, then met friends this morning at J&R to look at monitors, multifunction printers, external HDs and DVD recorders. Took a look at my bank balance and realized it was emptying fast until payday on Monday. Ended up just buying a new 4GB memory stick.

Now downloading torrents, watching Neon Genesis Evangelion and reading HP & the Order of the Phoenix - FIRST TIME I'M READING THE BOOK BEFORE SEEING THE MOVIE OMGLOL.
