I don't agree with all the hype about the gay sex scene being THE MOST EXPLICIT EVER OMG.

First of all, Starz is on premium cable, where that sort of thing is allowed.

Second, has everyone forgotten about Queer As Folk? We saw Aiden Gillan stick his nose and tongue up teen Charlie Hunnam's perfect little ass crack over 18 years ago. And that was on publicly funded TV channels. And the US version was just as explicit, although it was on premium cable as well.

The one thing this scene had that the others in the past didn't was that one shot of the guy's peen once they both turned all black and shiny. Usually peen shots are before or after the sex, not during. But that was it. Everything else has been done.

I thought the scene was kinda lovely and dreamy, it didn't come off as like porny or whatever I'm trying to say. Americans are not used to seeing the peen on TV, though. I'm sure some of them were having the vapors.

I liked this week's episode even though it didn't adance the story. Emily Browning is really good and I enjoy watching her. She's on the "cute zombies" list for sure.
