The ones that really creep me out are the bank/building society ads (Lloyd’s springs to mind, but they all do it) where they talk about how they’ll be there along with you from cradle to grave. This is usually illustrated by a very touching montage starting with a young man all the way through his life, until the last shot is his near identical twin grandson smiling, at the entrance of a bank to set up his account (and presumably thinking back to fond memories of his grandfather who also occasionally physically entered banks, aa people tended to do back in those days).

They should show the subject of the advert dying and he arrives in the afterlife and it's a bank and a smiling clerk says "there is no escape..."
