I guess DeWitt was just really lonely. I wonder if she got a company discount on him?

Saunders (Amy Acker): Seemed like the obvious choice, but last week she seemed to think the Dollhouse was a good thing and the dolls were safter there than on outside.
Boyd: Doesn't have the technical know how to rewrite an Active.
DeWitt: Nah.
Ivy (Topher's assistant): She was cleared of suspicion this week because Dominic framed her but that doesn't mean she ISN'T the "other mole".

Can't be Topher because he was out the room when Ecoh was rewritten, so who else is there? Some random handler? Of course the show will probably be cancelled before we find out.
 
Pretty good episode this week. The life after death concept was cool and it was like a sci-fi episode of Murder She Wrote. I guess it was the son early though, he just looked creepy.

The Helo stuff is getting better too and I love that he's all bitter and treating Mellie like a fucktoy now. Nasty.

Aww, poor Topher, has to program an active to be his friend. Though you can understand why he wouldn't have any.
 
I didn't pay much attention to the episode cause I was chatting, AS YOU ALREADY KNOW.
 
Watched it this morning. Not as good as last week, but still very watchable.

Same here. I'm just pissed they waited so long to actually have GOOD uses for Actives. I wonder how many people left early one b/c the show was asking for too much leeway. As I said in one of my first posts in this thread, I can handle the tech it's the plot/business model I can't accept. Being a Whedon fan I chugged through and now I can finally buy it.

Unfortunately I fear it is too late.

Although what'd you think of his comment in the shower? Is he breaking down and just accepting her for what she is (an Active)? Is it that he prefers the fake Mellie over her real criminal self?

I asked if her crying over a TV show was in any way related to me having to get out of bed early b/c there was blood on the sheets and they had to be put in the wash.

I felt sorry for him too. I've never had the Topher hate that most of ya'll do.
 
He's just a crappy actor, always has a smirk on his face even when everything is supposed to be serious. I liked him the best in the episode when everyone was high, cause having a silly grin on your face is acceptable then.
 
I think he's just accepting her as an active and that he has to use her to get to the dollhouse and part of that involves fucking her brains out. It'll be interesting if she ever gets her original personality back but can remember everything they did together.

It'd be really fucked up if she remembers telling him that she was a doll. In otherwords, she knows, that he knows that she's a doll and thus he is kinda sorta committing rape.


And I wanna know more about her 'real' personality!

Same here. I'm glad they decided to keep her character around... There is ALOT of potential for good conflicts between her and Helo.
 
There's only two episodes to go (and possibly no season 2.) I thinkt here will be some kind of resolution to that story (maybe she'll lead him to the Dollhouse and he'll rescue Echo or whatever) but still leaving it open in case there's a season 2.

Um. I guess you didn't see the preview for this weeks episode? Helo ends up rescueing Echo but then Alpha shows up.
 
The version I download never has the promos...

Joss is saying he thought it was looking bad when Fox told him they won't be showing episode 13, but then they assured him that no decision has been made yet...so we don't know. But I'm sure some bloggers will be claiming IT'S FUCKING CANCELLED THEY TORE DOWN THE SETS AND DUSHKU'S CLOTHES.

IIRC Fox never ordered the 13th episode, Joss just made it.
 
They ordered 13 epsiodes but weren't happy with the pilot and never aired it, so this 13th episode is one extra, yes, but there must have been a time where Joss thought it was going to be shown because he did an interview where he said he was "bummed" (possibly not an actual quote) that it wasn't being shown and thought that meant the show was finished and an actress who was in it said on her twitter she'd only just found out it wasn't being aired and you'd think if she had known all along she wouldn't have been surprised.

ANYWAY, it's not cancelled yet. ;)
 
Tim Minear said they made the 13th episodes for DVD perposes (for some reason you need at least 13 episodes in order to be put on DVD, and the unaired pilot didn't count as they'd used parts of it in other shows or something), and Joss was asking Fox to show it, but since they never asked for it or scheduled for it they aren't going to.
 
Eh, this week's episode was just ok.
