Enraged. incandescent

Nice Pee Wee ya’ boring biscuit.
I see you know the term; I also see that you don't quite grasp how it works. :)

See, a 'pee wee' would also be described as a tu quoque; you accuse me of a thing, I accuse you of the same thing.

But that's not what happened.

You described me as being, "almost as fun as playing with,' yada yada. I came back with a request for you to tell us what that's like.

What I did was more along the lines of a Happy Gilmore; to wit:

"I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!"
"Heh, you eat pieces of shit for breakfast?"
"... no..."

See the difference?

Naw, you probably don't. But others do, and that's the fun part. :)

The Question

By the way: am I the only one who's spotted the Barcalow in the room?

What's a (misspelled) synonym for 'enraged'? What material is candescent? Say, in filament form in candescent lightbulbs?

*sigh*

Never mind. He could probably have actually titled the damn thread, "Angery. Magnesium." and most of you wouldn't have picked up on it. :p

I see the difference but can’t fathom giving a fuck enough to point it out. Like “correcting” someone’s English. “But others do and that’s the fun part”? I don’t think you’d know f

That you take the time to dissect the trivial just furthers the impression that you’re a miserable, boring person.
Your comment…“but others do and that’s the fun part” demonstrates low self worth and a pathetic level of approval seeking.
All of which adds up to you being a giant waste of air and time. To me. But there’s always your fan club.

In addition to the mine field, there are a few of us that have worked hard to keep the board alive. I'd hardly call that a "fan club"

I've stayed out of this discussion for the most part, because I was interested in seeing where you two would take it.

Still waiting. He's much more intelligent than you give him credit for. I say that because I've gone to the mat with him more than once and always found it interesting if not refreshing. differences of opinion and perspective give a vibrancy to a discussion that otherwise would not exist.

If you're trolling that's one thing. But the passive aggressiveness takes the starch out of your argument.

All that, and you hang a "Trollzilla" sandwich board around your neck. Not sure there's much of any kind of "-zilla" to be credited to somebody who attempts to troll, eats pavement, and then tries to play it off like you didn't try something.

Really just makes you look like an airhead.

Tell you what I see:

You waltzed in here thinking that having a vagina makes you the smartest person in any given room, only to step on a rake. And now the rake is laughin' at ya. Bet that stings. But now's not the time to start tap dancin', sister, 'cause the laughter will only gain voices the more you dance.

Hahaha!! Finally something funny. If a vagina or a dick makes someone “smart” explain Mirah. Or Loktar.

Fair enough; I've met male specimens of the human race who acted like they were a bestowment from MENSA, too, and their act was, likewise, about as thin as Jen Psaki's deflections.

I hope you didn't misunderstand and think I was crediting you with being unique.

I was a director of HR for many years and interviewed probably close to 1,000 people over the years. Many, MANY MENSA types, for all their innate intelligence and yearssss of education, had the common sense and social/communication skills of squirrels. I wouldn’t hire them.
I don’t think you were crediting me with being unique but of course I am.

Public Citizen has reviewed and published the secret contracts between Pfizer and Albania, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Dominican Republic, the European Commission, Peru, the U.S. and the U.K. The contracts reveal nations have handed over unprecedented power to Pfizer, and in virtually all scenarios, Pfizer’s interests come first
Some countries, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Peru, have put up sovereign assets as collateral for vaccine injury lawsuits, including bank reserves, military bases and embassy buildings
The contracts not only secure Pfizer’s intellectual property rights, but should Pfizer be found guilty of stealing the intellectual property rights of others, some of the contracts shift the responsibility onto the government purchasers. Pfizer can steal the intellectual property of others without consequence in at least four countries
The contracts also give Pfizer the right to muzzle government. In Brazil, government officials are prohibited from making “any public announcement concerning the existence, subject matter or terms of [the] Agreement” without the written consent of the company. Similar nondisclosure provisions are included in the contracts with the European Commission and the U.S. government. The only difference is that the nondisclosure rules apply to both parties
October 26, 2021, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration voted to extend the emergency use of Pfizer’s COVID jab for children aged 5 through 11. Experts warn this is reckless and unnecessary, and will do far more harm than good, as COVID-19 poses no risk to young children.

As noted Public Citizen, Pfizer is being allowed to profit from this self-inflicted global disaster in unprecedented ways. In many instances, a nation's laws will not apply to Pfizer.

These secret contracts grant Pfizer total control over its product and ensures full payment, regardless of whether the shots are needed or usable, while simultaneously eliminating all liability. In short, Pfizer wins, no matter what the outcome of the vaccination campaign might be.

At the same time, Pfizer is also controlling media through its advertising dollars. As you've probably realized by now, media companies in most instances will not report on anything that might jeopardize the profits of its advertisers.

As illustrated in the short video above, it couldn't be more obvious that Pfizer is bankrolling the media, which in turn will refuse to bite the hand that feeds it. You can see the wide spectrum of media programming being sponsored by Pfizer, including "Nightline," "Making a Difference," "CNN Tonight," "Early Start," "Erin Burnett Out Front," "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," "CBS Sports," "Meet the Press," "CBS This Morning" and "60 Minutes."

I have no doubt that Pfizer is a self seeking, lawyered up, profit hungry corporation. That’s capitalism for you. For those that find conspiracy in there would you prefer even more government control? Less regulation? Just curious.

Ok. :) I don’t disagree that he’s intelligent but what I personally enjoy (and might not always get or give for that matter) is intelligence mixed with a wicked sense of humor.
If there’s anything passive in my arguments…my bad. ;)

Actually, that's corporatism for you. Precursor condition to both Socialism and Fascism, and one reason why, just as we have measures for the separation of church and state, we also need measures for the separation of corporation and state.

Because, without them, this is what we get. Corporations buying the ability to make public policy for their own enrichment.

What would I prefer? An end to corporate lobbying, and an end to the revolving door between "public official" and "corporate lobbyist."

Retire from the FDA? Good on ya. But if you aim those feet at the doors of Pfizer, you'll be taken on a 10 year detour to Leavenworth instead.

That's what I'd prefer. Government unable to mandate private purchasing behavior, and corporations unable to steer government to create such mandates.

Shit's so nutty you could sprinkle it on ice cream and sell it at Dairy Queen. Fuck's sake, I'll be the first to speak to the evil of the Pharmaceutical industry -- or, as I call it, the American drug cartel -- but for the most exacting sake of Fuck, man. There's a difference between inductive logic based on presentable data, and just... well, whatever the hell you're doing.

I actually agree and I might take it further. The only reason we seemingly only have two viable political parties in the U.S. is financing/funding. Special interest groups, super PACs, campaign finance…It’s a completely fucked up system and I think it will stay that way until money is taken out of politics. I haven’t thought through alternatives (all the implications) but generally speaking I’d almost rather see tax payer dollars used to finance campaigns (a flat amount per candidate commiserate with the office being sought). Nothing REMOTELY close to what is spent currently. Unnecessary given communication technology, press events etc. I think most of the country is somewhere in the middle of the two parties (I know I am). So every damn time I vote, I’m holding my nose. I swing from Democrat to Republican and back again hoping that over time the two parties will balance each other out. It’s not working anymore. It’s corrupt through and through.
