Notre Dame Fighting Irish finish above Texas A&M Aggies in final AP regular-season football poll
Before the College Football Playoff selection committee revealed its selections for the final, AP Top 25 voters released their final rankings. The Fighting Irish were a comfortable 41 points ahead of the Aggies.

The Beavers had the seventh-longest active streak, being ranked for 76 consecutive weeks dating to Dec. 19, 2016. Oregon State lost its lone game last week, falling to Washington State and dropping out of the poll from No. 21.

Report: Duke Blue Devils end women's basketball season amid coronavirus concerns
The Blue Devils are the first Power Five school to have started this season and will not finish it because of the virus. The Ivy League opted out of playing winter sports in November before the basketball season started. A few other schools also decided not to play this year.

TCU Horned Frogs safety Trevon Moehrig to enter NFL draft
Moehrig, a potential first-round pick, is a finalist for the Thorpe Award, which annually goes to the nation's top defensive back. He's a two-time first-team All-Big 12 selection and has nine takeaways over the past two seasons, tied for second nationally in that span. The 6-foot-2, 202-pound Moehrig, a first-team ESPN All-American, was third on the Horned Frogs with 47 tackles this season and second with nine pass breakups. Ehlinger, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds. He leaves ranked second in school history to Colt McCoy in career completions, passing yards, total offense, passing touchdowns and touchdowns responsible for.

NCAA men's basketball tournament to be played entirely in Indiana
