Defiance

This episode felt really short (it was under forty minutes even with a lengthy recap at the start.) I like Berlin, Irisa and the Tars. Nolan's still annoying but I say that every week.

The super evil alien guy actually said "car" this week while everyone else continued to say "roller". WHY?

"Come with me if you want to live." I GOT THAT REFERENCE (it's a frequently used reference.)
 
I HOPE LINDA HAMILTON IS DEAD :rwmad: fuck that character is awful.

It seems like the purple dude was played by a different actor, or something.
 
Nolan being all "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WON'T KILL PEOPLE AFTER YOU WERE MADE TO KILL THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE!!" thing is really weird.

I like Berlin though. Why isn't this the Berlin show?
 
Well, they wrapped up the Pottinger stuff. I'm glad they didn't leave it as a loosed end, but just revealing "actually yeah I'm a rapist here's my rape room!" like that felt a bit sillly. But whatever, he's dead and it's done now. The "Berlin doesn't trust Irisa" stuff is getting annoying.
 
Yeah, I was hoping Berlin and Irisa would get in a fist fight or something and then get drunk together and cry OR SOMETHING FUCK.
 
Defiance came on again at 11pm and I tried to watch it but I fell asleep before it was over. I saw Berlin find whatshername and then I was fading out.
 
THIS WAS A GOOD EPISODE OF DEIFANCE. How can Stahma come back after this? Her usual tactic of "having sex with someone to solve the problem" wouldn't really work in this situation. The puple aliens are into incest. Of course they are.

Did we know Berlin dated an arms dealer?

Dr Yewll is hot for Amanda! Her braid is cute, imo.

The purple alien acting isn't that great, but Stahma was awesome as usual. Not sure how she's going to get away with her shit this time. You can't just go around killing people, OR CAN YOU? Yeah, they'll probably let her off the hook somehow.

We don't know much of anything about Berlin. They should really give her an episode.

So Datak's execution is going to be halted by the town being attacked and he'll do something heroic and get pardoned.

This was one of those episodes that had some good stuff in it, but wasn't mostly not that great. All the inspirational speeches were lame, and the alien dude who didn't want to fight unless Irisa was there was lame.
 
Wow this was a terrible episode.

Berlin decides to run away with the guy who sold weapons to people who will use them to kill all her friends. Like, directly because of that guy, people she likes will die. But she goes with him because...?????????????????

Also lol at the "I WON'T FIGHT UNLESS THAT FICTIONAL CHARACTER I READ ABOUT IN A BOOK IS HERE" guy.
 
I thought it was going to turn out that arms dealer guy had double crossed the evil aliens and the weapons he sold them woulnd't work becasue they needed him to voice activate them. But no, he's just a scummy arms dealer. He's not even hot!
 
This was actually kind of cool. I wanted Datak to die, but cutting his own arm off to avoid death was at least not the easy way out, lol.

Why'd they have to make it so obvious that sharpshooter alien kid was going to die?

I guess Purple Incest Girl is the big bad.
 
I thought Purple Incest Girl wanted to fuck Nolan. MAYBE that's what made her turn heel.
