Defiance

I liked the science fiction parts of this episode, with the electric alien thing and the ethical stuff about the bioman. The mayor might be a possible rapist but I liked him in these scenes.

But then it goes back to people sleeping with each other randomly (I'M NOT A PRUDE THOUGH) and Nolan being a dick and kind of loses me. And Christie in whiteface is surely not going to end well.

Yeah, I loved the electric alien thingy! I would really like to know more about that stuff, I suppose if Irisa's story line ever goes anywhere we will learn more about the aliens who did the shit to earth. You can't really call it terraform because terra is earth, right? WHATEVER.

I also loved Stahma, as usual. I love how she tries so hard to be the demure Castithan woman, but her eyes always give it away. I HOPE SHE BURNS HER METAL BRA.

This episode was good, but it's hard enough to believe that there's enough people in this poverty-ridden town who are into dressing up as aliens for there to be a whole club dedicated for them, let alone enough to justify murdering aliens for their eyes?

The old singing guy is creepy.

I like Datak and Rafe together.

Alak's whore looks like Beth from The Walking Dead but more whorey and I think I like it?

lol

I liked this episode a lot, too. The creepy e-rep guy wasn't as bad, but the song at the end was super cheesy. ALSO, I liked the stuff with Irisa, I'm glad they're finally doing something with her.

The new guy she kissed at the end was on Sanctuary, another SyFy show that was CANCELLED. It was a pretty good show. I cracked up when I saw him in his Irathient costume. AND ALSO, he's a Jewish Irathient! I bet he's gone for the rest of the season and then comes back next season and we say oh, I sorta remember that guy.

I wonder if Kenya is coming back this week.

From the previews I saw, Stahma thinks Kenya is dead and Datak tells her she is alive.

Or maybe Stahma and Kenya faked Kenya's death TOGETHER and when Kenya comes back she and Stahma shock the town of Defiance by having an open relationship!

Kenya looked kind of rough (I guess she was meant to.)

If it turns out the Pottinger was the guy who kidnapped her I'll be disappointed at how predictable it was since I just guessed it.

Oh, shoot... I bet you are right. I kept waiting for Kenya to knock that guy's mask off, and was disappointed that we didn't get to see who it was.

At least Irisa's story is finally getting some attention. I wonder what Arkrise is going to mean.

The final scene of the season will be a clone of Nolan walking out of the Ark while "All Along The Watchtower" plays.

That reminds me (because BSG), I watched Riddick last night and it was pretty bad. Why did they list Karl Urban as a star and not Katie? He was only in it for a few minutes and that's IT. I don't even know why he wanted to be in that, but I guess it was an easy paycheck. THE MAP IS IN MY HEAD... I don't even know what map they were talking about. The only character I cared about was the dingo dongo.

I think he was in it to tie into the previous movie, even though I thoguht this one was kind of supposed to be a reboot of the "Riddick" franchise and yeah it was bad.

You were almost right about Pottinger! Poor Kenya, but I bet the fake Kenya figures out how to stay alive and decides to come back to Defiance and STUFF. Stahma was pretty funny with Kenya's skull.

It looked like Jaime Murray had a little trouble moving her forehead in the scenes where she was supposed to be showing sorrow.
