Defiance

He could have gotten there with the drugs, eventually IMO... she was already hanging out with him all the time.
 
SO the finale (I'll just count both episodes as one, probably) was the best episode of the season. But still had the Defiance problems. Like the Linda Hamilton story is pretty lame. Crazy woman kidnaps people isn't much of a cliffhanger. Stahma/Datak scenes were good. I liked when they were fighting. Amanda being the person firing the gun at Irisa was pretty stupid? Wouldn't they have sent an actual sniper person? Berlin is hot and had good scenes. Poor Tommy. So was it the last episode ever? who knows.
 
I liked this show when it was called Alien Nation and the aliens had potato-heads and funny pun names like Matt Zarella and I.P. Freely.
 
Yeah, I thought it was really weird they let Amanda be the one to shoot Irisa. They have the entire military and they're just gonna let the mayor do the shooting? I love every Stahma scene, and even though I could do without Datak, I thought their scenes together were great.

I think the main Defiance problem is that we know all the problems will be solved, so that made the Votan rapture thingy not feel very important, not to mention that they didn't spend any time making it interesting during the season. OR SOMETHING.
 
New York looked kind of empty. But also had loads of building in it.

Continuum's pretty good and Magda Apanowicz is in it eventually so there.
 
Now I want to come up with more joke names for aliens. I should be congratulated for "Matt Zarella", by the way, that was FUCKING CLEVER, INNIT.

Let's see... "Pete Zaria." Oooooh! That's good!

"Cathy Tiria." DAMN, I'M GOOD.
 
Yeah, Defiance is alright, but it could be so much better. STILL I am happy it was renewed. I have no idea why SyFy renewed Dominion, that show is terrible awful crap.
 
Two hours of Defiance is about one hour too much Defiance, IMO.

Wow, they really killed off some characters! Linda Hamilton is still terrible.
 
I think they want to be GOT with killing off that whole family but no one cared about the son and the daughter was wooden. It was sad when Rafe died because he was one of the better actors. Did he really spend SEVEN MONTHS with Stahma and Datak hunting down their kids?

The scenes with Stahma and Datak and the new crazy alien were the best part.

Linda Hamilton was terrible, yeah. Lena Headey could fucking destroy her in a Former Sarah Connor Actresses act off.

Nolan is still a dick. Do they think if he shoots enough people in the head we'll like him? I WON'T.

Attempted rape scene thrown in because GRITTY.

The purple girl was kind of cute.

Remember the mayor last season who was obsessed with Julize Benz and cloned her sister and everything just to get her into bed? What happened to him? Did he die last season? I know they said the Earth Republic left but surely he would have stayed after everything he did to bang her. He was a big deal last seaosn so it's weird there wasn't any closure (unless he really did die.)

Anna Hopkins is pretty.

Fucking terrible cover vesion to end the show. Yep, Defiance is back!
