New episode was interesting. St Louis under the terraformed land was interesting. A bit odd, though, if you know of St. Louis' layout. The Gateway Arch is located right next to the main city, where all of those big buildings would be. Also, St. Louis isn't a metropolis. The city expands for miles in every direction and is mostly urban sprawl, not tall buildings. I know a good bit about the city's history, so the inconsistencies annoyed me.
Other than that, the ending with a cover of Nirvana's "Come As You Are" was pretty good. Not sure how I feel about perverting a grunge song into something more melodic, but I think Cobain wouldn't have minded.
The effects showing St. Louis as a ruined cavernous city were really well done. Liked the touch of the flying creatures in the background when they were in the park.
One thing I really tip my hat for is not going into a flashback when Irisa was upset about the man being tortured. They showed her scars and that was enough.
If the rest of the show moves along like this, it will be a great series to watch.
