Defiance

I watch it and can barely remember what happened. Mrs SQUAWKING'S Fake Baltar got murdered by Bad Actor Kid who now has a Head Six of his Dead Bad Actor Brother in his head, right?
 
Why did Mrs SQUAWKING go to the house in the storm by herself when she strongly suspected they had murdered her fake Baltar?
 
I don't know. But this one was pretty good. This show is starting to breathe on its own. The training wheels have come off. Yeah!
 
The guy that plays the son of Tony Curran is the brother in real life of the girl that plays Sally in Being Human (American version) and she's all I can see whenever he's on screen because they have the same nose. It's disconcerting.

I don't like the calamity of the week stuff on this show. ALSO, I'm mad they incapacitated the top hat guy :rwmad: AND gratuitous lesbo sex tossed in to make the show seem EDGY. Fuck, you know they could have built that up a little bit and it would have been much more interesting.
 
It was hilarious when the doctor said "Top Hat Guy WILL NEVER WAKE UP FROM THIS COMA" then in the next scene he's awake and talking to Little Wolf. At least wait a couple of episodes.

And surely the madam of a whorehouse with so many alien customers would know all about their SEX STUFF? Why did she laugh when Not Cersei started talking about the G-Spot? You'd think she'd know these aliens are more open about sex.

THEN AGAIN why did Not Cersei then start going on about how she was lowering herself being in a whorehouse if her species is so SEX POSITIVE? I DON'T GET ANYTHINg.

I'm sorry, but lesbo action hasn't been edgy in sci fi since Dax made out with its ex-wife on DS9 nearly TWO DECADES AGO. Since then we've had a litany of hot gay action. It's almost a requirement for sci fi now. If it doesn't have some steamy love scene between two similar genders, it isn't cool.

BSG took it to a new level by having harems of pansexual people engaging in orgies.

After that, any "gratuitous" homo action just deserves a big YAWN.

He was rambling incoherently with his eyes closed. I don't think that qualifies as recovering from a coma and having a full conversation. Just sayin'.

I think they're cool with being open about sex UNTIL they're married. Then they only brag to their parents about how awesome a lover their new spouse is. That's what I took away from it.
 
Yes, I know that lesbo sex isn't edgy. I wish the writers of Defiance knew it.

Yeah, I'm still watching. I am losing my enthusiasm for the show, though. Although, I thought last night's episode was better than usual!
 
I thought this was better than average for Defiance. I kind of liked the scene where they all got drunk. I don't know how Jaime Murray went from "she's the REAL POWER in this marriage!" to "mistreated wife" so quickly though.

The ending should have had his programming kick in and he beats his wife to death.
