Doctor Who Series 10 - At Least It Will Be Better Than Class

I hope they're doing a thing where the Master is regenerating backwards so he goes back to Simm...for five minutes then dies again and regenerates into Derek Jacobi AND STAYS THAT WAY.

I hope John Simm's Master meets Missy Master and they have lots of weird Time Lord sex....mostly butt stuff. And then Peter Capaldi's Doctor joins in for a menage a trois.

That was shit.

Reminded me of last year's part one of the Zygon two-parter, so no surprise it was the same writer. Just boring most of the way through and they've really dumbed down Bill since her introduction. She spend most of the episode looked shocked with her mouth hanging open and somehow failed to figure out that the Doctor is blind despite him wearing dark glasses and Nardole constantly narrating what's happening to him (oh, and the fact that she was present when he was blinded.)

How many times did it cut to the fucking scientists with nothing happening? Probably like four times! And even when the guy died they were still boring.

Also didn't last week's end with the Doctor basically telling Missy they were going to have to team up to defeat the aliens? It was implied anyway. Then this week she's completely absent.

i get that people that are hungover are not feeling great, but that dosnt mean that you are that stupid you open an airtight case that has just destoyed a living thing in two seconds, then open the airlock to the room, and the 2nd airlock to the room.

Come to think of it, what airlock allows both doors to be opened at once anyway?

It was a really confusingly laidout room that happened to have the only lock that can't easily be disabled by pointing the sonic at it.

It was OK I guess. I liked the bits where the enemies agreed not to kill each other, but the lab accident stuff was kinda stupid.

It just really annoyed me how they turned her into an idiot after doing such a good job with the character in her first few episodes.

They seem to have a lot of back and forth with the writers; I wonder how strictly the writers actually follow the show and what's been done previously, because it almost seems like the only character portrayed consistently is The Doctor.

Love saves the day! The one thing the villains never think of!

Not really sure why the Monks were worthy of a three part story. Especially since part one had nothing to do with parts two and three. This one was better than last week's but still not a top level Doctor Who episode. I don't think there's been a top level Doctor Who episode since Hell Bent last series.

I liked tonight's one. What if?/parallel realities are always interesting, even if there's a big reset button and no one remembers anything, as in this.

Bill's acting was excellent and even Nardol wasn't too annoying this time.

Didn't really feel like it needed the build up, though. This worked quite well as a self contained episode.

It was all right. Bill wasn't stupid this go, and Nardole wasn't entirely obnoxious.

But one minor bitch: Has the Doctor always been able to fake a regeneration? WTF was that?

Remember how the Monks were supposedly running simulations of all of human history in realtime and could see every possible outcome? How come they never predicted Bill defeating them by thinking about her mother? Or thought it would be a good idea to lock Bill up since she's the only person to defeat them? Or predicted that the Doctor would easily escape their prison ship?

Extremis might as well not have happened is what I'm saying.

I thought this one was really good. Should have let Bill punch Nardol at least once, though!
