Identify this:

Fuck it...it's different stages of a Type II supernova. I'm only giving it because some made an awesome .gif of one that I couldn't resist putting in the Coffee Table thread:

In its stead, tell me what this is:

That's a Gauss GP-219 silent Electromagnetic pistol. Link

I also managed to find something worthy of raising this thread for. Because I don't even know what it is.

I think it's a Tubifex tubifex, but I can't be certain.

A lot of the viewers on youtube would like to think it's a xenomorph egg or something like the Flood from Halo. Whatever it is, it's really creepy.

Are you sure that's not a video copy of St. Luci's mother giving birth to him?

I guess that would also make it the first AND last pussy he's ever seen.

A rocket engine would not require what appear to be those things I don't know what they are called (to let heat out, holes in the shapes of lines) in the bottom left corner.

Are the canisters holding a liquid?

The cables in the lower center part are moving data back and forth.

It's too large to be an average home appliance. I don't recognize the wheel in the center. It might be resting on wood.

I'm going to have to recreate it to figure out what it is.

Vents?

No. The only lubricant of any kind in the mechanism are tiny amounts of lubricant, added @ repairs/servicings by hand (no distribution system).

No wood anywhere in the device.

Here's a hint: Be careful you don't look directly into any openings when it's on.

The erm 'striations' in what looks like the outer body specifically. The component in the lower left is venting stuff through it.

Upper center and a little to the left. Also at center left.

I've made a really cool fog machine.

I figured it was shooting stuff out in every direction but don't know of anything that does that.

A laser or other scientific junk?

There are quite a few vents, as well as circulation fans, in the outer body. What you're referring to specifically is one of several that have tubing attached to aim air further into the mechanism, towards the center.

Upper center and a little to the left. Also at center left.
I see what you're referring to --that's something in the background outside the mechanism, not part of it (IIRC it has to do with the opening & maintenance...a lift mechanism?) It's definitely not wood.

No fog or lasers per se...but you're getting warmer.
