I saw the whole thing. It was typical John kerry ranting. He is always whining like a back seat driver.

The democrat that I like and respect is Harold Ford of Tennessee. He should run for president in 08. Hes a no bullshit type of guy. (and pro gun)
http://www.house.gov/ford/

Sadly, I don't think it's going to matter who wins the 08 election be they Republican or Democrat. There isn't going to be any 4 year easy fix to the cluster fuck that Bush and this Republican administration have made of this country.

About the only thing we can hope for is that the next elected president isn't a Bush groupie from the current administration or 6 years from now 75 percent of the country will be unemployed and homeless while Bush and his cronies are hiring illegal Mexican immigrants to dig moots and set up boiling oil traps to protect their castles. If they're lucky, the Chinese will get the contracts for their home security systems and the Arabs will make sure they get shipped and installed in a timely manner.

Not to worry though, us average Americans can make a few bucks minnium wage by pumping out the septic systems of the rich and powerful and collecting the dead bodies of our friends of relatives who died due to lack of adequate medical insurance that only the rich and powerful can afford. We'll need the extra money to make up for all the retirement benefits that companies won't be able to pay out and the government has slashed. It'll also make us feel better when we get the letter thanking us for a lifetime of paying into social security that no longer exists for our generation.

But that's ok, we've got a college education to fall back on if need be. We'll just have to move to China use it.

Nope, no sewer work for this man. Once the Republicans finishes screwing the common working men and women, set up their little castles and then sit back and declare martial law, I'll still have a job protecting the fat cats from you, the pissed off masses. ;)

They featured Traitorcrat-in-Chief John Kerry on my local news, this has gone nationwide.

My fellow soldiers all breathe a sigh of relief that this piece of medal-throwing garbage is NOT our commander-in-chief.

Just like the Democrats to think everyone is a victim of something. The soldiers in Vietnam were defending their country, while Kerry called his fellow vets WAR CRIMINALS. I guess some things never change.

El Rushbo has another brilliant commentary on this (ever notice that Rush's critics try to shut him up and silence him like our liberal critics on the internet? It doesn't work, does it?):

John Kerry Tells Us All What Democrats
Really Think of Our Troops Fighting in Iraq

October 31, 2006

RUSH: If you haven't heard this, I want you to listen to it. You've heard about it probably by now but you may not have heard it. Last night at Pasadena City College at a Democratic rally for California Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides, the distinguished Senator and former Democratic presidential nominee and candidate John Kerry said this.

KERRY: You know, education, if you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you -- you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq.

RUSH: Now, this has created a firestorm of reaction around the world, particularly amongst families of the troops that are in Iraq. There is so much meaning; there's so much to analyze from just this one little ten-second bite. It tells us what John Kerry himself and the Democratic Party think about the troops and think about the US military. And for the longest time I've spelled that out for you on this program. They routinely have impugned and demeaned the troops. They have said that they're there in Iraq and they joined the military because they have no future. The American economy is in such sad shape that they have no future. They have no way of getting educated. They can't make a living, so they have to join the United States military. They have no other choice. They're not joining the military because they believe in the mission of the military. They're joining the military as a way to survive -- and, of course, this does not fit the profile at all of the US military today. It is all volunteer.

Much of military life is highly technical and requires tremendous education, as I'm sure we could validate with phone calls from military people all day long today if we wanted to.

Well, I'm not a fan of Kerry and I think if he would have gotten elected that we'd be just as deep in bullshit as we are with the Bush administration.

However,

It's interesting how the media, the White house and the Republicans have put their own spin on it. Kerry claims it was a comment directed at Bush and his failures in Iraq. Granted, he didn't say specifically who it was directed at at the time, but knowing how much of an illiterate moron George Bush is, it wasn't hard to see it was a jab at him. The Republicans on the other hand have turned this into an all out assault on Kerry and the Democrats and determined for themselves who it was directed at. Call it poetic interpretation if you will.

Kerry is a disgrace to the military, no doubt about it. But I remember just how bent out of shape the Republicans got when the Democrats put their own spin on George Bush's moronic comments. Of which there are many.

Ok, Ogami, feel free to now tell everyone how holier than thou the Republican party is and how much of a God GW is.

HE IS A TRAITOR, FUCK THAT BACK SEAT DRIVER, SHIT TALKING ANTI AMERICAN BASTARD.

And this shit^ is another problem with the Republican party and the Bush administration.

According to them, anyone who disagrees with their party or the administration is a traitor to our country.

Never mind that freedom of speech is a constitutional right and the ability to disagree with government in public and not behind closed doors in secret is what sets us apart from dictatorships and 3rd world countries.

But I'm sure the Republicans are working on modifying that right on the way to out right abolishing it along with the others they've taken a bite out of.

And as a former servicemen, I fought for our Constitution and the rights it guarantees the citizens of this country. Not for the moron sitting in the White house.

Clintonian triangulation. Place yourself "above" the two sides, and then make pretenses of being wiser than everyone. What a crock of self-indulgent shit. You must be terribly bruised from patting yourself on the back.

Bush got better grades than Al Gore in college, which just shows how much you know.

The Republicans on the other hand have turned this into an all out assault on Kerry and the Democrats and determined for themselves who it was directed at. Call it poetic interpretation if you will.

That would be true, save for the fact that the Democrats have a very poor record regarding our troops. Overall, the message from the Democrats is that they 'support the troops', but they think they're all war criminals. They add a caveat that the neocons made our soldiers that way, but only Dems see the difference in their hair-splitting.

Ok, Ogami, feel free to now tell everyone how holier than thou the Republican party is and how much of a God GW is.

Bush has steered our nation through a difficult course, while his critics spend 100% of their time talking about what a dummy they think Bush is. There's no debate involved at all. Bush is doing his job, and his critics are filled to the brim with their own arrogance. I'll give a concrete example:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/im.../002-8083593-3273640?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books

Michael Moore and his ilk are just full of themselves with how much more they care about America, our troops, and everyone else. It's phony, it's a lie, and it's reprehensible for these people to attack our troops every day while claiming they care about them.

If Democrats really support our soldiers, then why is Abu Ghraib the most important thing to them? Why is Gitmo the most important thing to them? Because they see an opportunity for power in attacking our troops, and the Democrats care more for their own power than any of their so-called compassion.

Do I think Bush has God on his side? No, that's just a joke by his critics. Bush is a god-fearing man, who uses his religion to do what he feels is best for the nation and his oath of office. (That would be that oath to protect and defend the United States, you know, that little formality that Democrats just pay lip service to.)

Wow, that was quick. CNN has already taken "independent" Sarek's position. What a surprise!

CNN Shills for Sen. Kerry, Uneducated Soldiers Comment Meant For President Bush
Posted by Noel Sheppard on October 31, 2006 - 18:57.

After today, CNN might have to change the “C” in its initials to a “K”, as the cable network has been shilling for Senator John Kerry for hours.

By now, most of you are aware of an extraordinarily demeaning statement made by the junior senator from Massachusetts yesterday in front of a group of college students in California as reported by NewsBusters (video here). Well, some of CNN’s finest have been working the room so to speak trying to convince the American people that this was all a mistake, and that Kerry meant this as a jab at the president.

Correspondent Ed Henry filed a report Tuesday afternoon (video here) in which he stated, “Senator Kerry is insisting that he was referring to the president there, not to actual U.S. troops in Iraq, when he referred to 'getting stuck in Iraq.'" After playing a video clip of White House Press Secretary Tony Snow’s comments on the subject, and reading from some of Kerry’s own remarks from earlier in the day (transcript and video to follow), Henry said the following: “What's really going on here, besides the back and forth, is Senator Kerry is dying for the opportunity to go head to head with the president again. And that's why he's diving right in here with these -- this counterattack.”

Fascinating. So, Kerry insults America’s troops on Monday, and on Tuesday, CNN is advancing the notion that this all a strategy for Kerry to go “head to head with the president again.” Isn't that special?

Yep. I pat myself on the back for trying to stay objective about both sides. See I don't blindly support a candidate because of some party line. If I smell shit, I'll point it out.

Something you can't do Mr. Party line Republican.

That's bullshit and you know it. The current administration has done more to both degrade the military and the quality of person that enlists AND taken a meat cleaver to the benefits that a person receives for fighting for this country.

Come on, these people are no different that the extreme religious right wing. They support Bush but their ideas are even more fucked up than his are. Yet they're embraced because their ideas are similar.

No, they see a President and an administration that has blatantly put themselves above the articles of the Geneva Convention and the US constitution.

Joke by his critics? Bush is the who has claimed God spoke to him and told him what to do! Two examples:

"I feel God's words coming to me: 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East.' And by God, I'm gonna do it." - George W. Bush.

"God told me to end the tyranny in Iraq" - George W. Bush

Direct quotes from him. Bush is a nutjob.

This has turned the election. Kerry's freudian slip showed the American people, in no uncertain terms, exactly what the effete and elitist socialist left thinks of our military - our boys who are the heart and soul of our nation.

To effete trust-fund liberals like John "Traitor" Kerry, our troops are a bunch of redneck retard red-state hicks. This is also, by defaut, the position of John Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Teddy Kennedy and the Klintonista traitors.

Government-employed parasites, like Sarek, are natural supporters of the statist/socialist left; so therefore defend this blatant example of seditious America-hating by a confirmed traitor.

This is a HUGE event, people. The mid-term election has swung and there is nothing the America-hating water-carriers in the media can do to quench this little flame of bright truth.

The Amerian People can see clearly that the democrats are the party of non-values, America-hatred, appeasment and arrogance, and will not turn over the reins of power to these vermin swine quislings who would turn us into another euroscum nation of cowards ripe for dhimmitude.

Mark my words. The projected gains of the dems in both houses has evaporated away in the last 48 hours.

I was under the impression you were some bureaucrat parasite cancred leech that worked for Homeland Security.

I think people should chill out for a moment and examine the context of his statement here. Kerry was probably moping about the economy or something, and attached virulent anti-Bush stuff to it (Poor poor people have no choice but to join the military.)

I'm anti-Bush myself but that doesn't mean I'm illogical, or as bitter as he is. I don't think he was trying to insult the soldiers there, but trying to lay blame on Bush. It's rather pathetic, but what can you expect from Democrats? It's a party based on whining.

No. I know EXACTLY what Kerry's words sounded like. Only he knows for sure what he meant.

But,

When I joined the military, I took an oath to DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION. Not the President of the United States. And branding any American citizen who speaks out against this administration or our government as a traitor is denying them the constitutional right to express their opinion and therefore is an infringement on their right to free speech.

I do work under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. But only because my civilian job as a state contracted military policemen on a military installation was transfered over to them AFTER I had already been on the job for about 6 months. I also work as a county sheriff part time.
