See, the funny thing here is, you assume to know me. The second funniest thing here is that I am the same today as I was the day I joined TK and you just loooooved me back then. You're young, perhaps you've changed and just can not tolerate even those who project a personna of racist and that's fine but you do realize what a total jack ass you look like for assuming you know even one thing about me. May I remind you of the many kind words of encouragement I've had for you and much understanding? No, no you choose to know me in the worst way. Do I care, kind of, because I truly liked you but now I see you've become opionated and close minded and I don't think I want to know you any more than you do me. Sorry old pal.

I hate explaining myself because I think it's ridiculous but since I liked you at one time and want to put your mind at ease. Darling, I am not the "real thing", I do do it for shock value and damn it if it doesn't work every time...As in your case. I give everyone an equal shot and unlike many stereo-typical whites you've seen portrayed, I've never moved to the other side of the street to avoid a person of color. I lived in the absolute ghetto of my city for a while and walked tall and proud and was never bothered once, if anything more white crack heads irritated me than anyone of color. Also, one of my very best friends all through junior high and high school was a black man. I'm not trying to score brownie points with "my one black friend" but if I were a real life racist, he and I would have never made eye contact and I love that guy to this day.

Get a grip Gagh.

What a tedious slab of over-verbose nonsense. Don't think for one moment I am going to give you the fun of having a structured reply to this to pick apart & over-analyse.

Be thankful I gave my opinion instead of keeping it to myself. You wanted to know what the problem was, now you know. You're an elite racist. End of argument.

You're an arrogant, ignorant, moron and now you know what your problem is.

You don't now nor will you ever really know me. I thought it below you for you to ever assume that you did based on what you read here at TK but I see you're no more intelligent that a monkey with a keyboard, it's a shame really.

Oh and you do think mighty highly of yourself but then I guess someone has to.

Quick list of TK evasion tactics

1. Claim the opposition is a noob
2. Claim victory over and over and over
3. Claim you’ve already stated your position and don’t need to post anymore
4. Post images from Starguards Photobucket account
5. Neg rep from afar
6. Call the opposition a hypocrite (as if that means anything on TK)
7. YOU DON’T KNOW ME!!! WHATEVAR I DO WHAT I WANT!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

What am I evading? Validating Gagh's uninformed, pompous and ignorant opinion? Why would I validate something that is completely untrue?

Hm, seems to me that I was stating fact not evading anything good try though, A for effort.

I was just watching old episodes of A Different World and The Cosby Show and God the '90's were just cupcakeafied and overloaded with expected tolerence of different cultures, that renewed my disgust for Bill Clinton. This is AMERICA not Africa or Asia or Ireland or Italy or any other country in the world. Be apart of the American culture or go to the country that has the culture you wish to identify with.

Anyway, that little rant was out of fear, I refuse to go through yet another Afrocentric decade...I might have to move to Europe.
Obviously you hate the darkies and their culture and yet your only defense is “But, but you don’t know who I really am!!!”

Uh, I don't hate "darkies" dumb ass, I hate having their loud and proud "culture" shoved in my face 24/7. We're Americans here in the United States of America, not African Americans, not Asian Americans and not Hispanic or Mexican Americans. If you want to be African move to Africa, if you want to be Asian move to Asia, if you want to be Mexican move to Mexico. As long as you're living off and/or in the U.S. you are an American and no one is ever going to force me to believe otherwise.

Furthermore if I'm a loud and proud white woman then I'm a Neo-Nazi Skinhead racist same doesn't go for other colors, intelligently and effectively explain that.

That's what I don't like genius, read past your own judgemental bullshit.

The vast differences between African culture and black culture in America only highlight the ridiculousness of your understanding of the world.

Tell me. What’s it like living in a bubble where black culture isn’t a part of America, the rest of the world’s people are either commie socialists or terrorists, and old blowjob Bill is responsible for everything bad in the world?

@baddog: Kind of.

Oh GTC, you are so young, so uninformed and full of such promise and hope...I can't figure out how you manage to fill up with all that promise and hope considering you're also chock full of shit too but God bless you. The rosey way you, Dono and a few others around here look at life is refreshing.

Now, considering you DO NOT live in the U.S. and you have absolutely no idea how blacks idea of their African heritage fit into MY AMERICAN culture it's about time you keep your lofty opinions to yourself.

I'm not sure what impression you're getting based on Canadian knowledge of "African American Culture" but if it's anything like Canada's "Every American eats their weight in butter every year" theory you've got going over there I can assure you that you're sadly mis-informed.

Ps. DumbFucks, I'd almost fuck Daystrom before I'd fuck your goofy, desperate ass, ya fuckin' dork.

And um, no administrtion furthered the cause of black man and white women being able to be together in any form, that assertion is perhaps, and I can't say for sure, the absolute fucking dumbest thing you have ever said.

Bullshit. You yourself have claimed that the Clinton administration was responsible for the "cupcakeification" of America. I take that to mean that it's whole "be nice, don't offend, don't point out racial and ethnic diversity, treat as equals, accept differences and embrace other races," in other words, it's political correctness stance did more to erode the social stigma and negativity attached to interracial relationships than any other administration to date.

Personally, I always though it was bullshit myself. All that was really accomplished was throwing a rug over the dirt. Racism is still alive and well in the 21st century. It's just practiced behind closed doors and in the closet now. And frankly, IMO, that's a far more dangerous type of racism than the out in the open in your face brand. At least you knew where it was coming from then.

Laker_Girl said:
Goddamn, aren't you the pot calling the kettle black.

Not really. It's easy for a non racist to act like a racist. Buts it's far more difficult for a true racist to conceal their nature. There's no frame of reference to work from.

I will go back and finish reading the rest of your post but I had to stop right here and exclaim, "Are you on crack?!?!?!" I mean seriously? My money is MY MONEY and I have absolutely no idea where you get the impression that it's not. I earn it and I should get to keep as much of it as humanly possible. My God, I am blown away by this statement, you are, in my strict opinion, the best Democrat EVER.

Then by all means, rush down to your local IRS office and demand they give you your money back so that it doesn't accidentally get spent on any cupcakeers. After they stop laughing at you, come back and let us all know how much they gave back.

Oh and, I happen to agree with Sarek and Friday and it's ridiculous that any of you would assume I'm any more racist than either of them. Logic tells me that you'll accept what they have to say and never think they are racist because by and large they agree with you politically. But because I vote Republican I am truly racist (oh how ignorant) but then I would ask you to question exactly how open minded you really are.

When you complain that a Democratic government will somehow lead to you being forced to watch "cupcakeafied" tv, that would be an example of racism and how open-minded you are. Personally I don't necessarily think you are racist. From what I have seen, you're mostly bitter against the entire world for imagined wrongs, exaggerated betrayals and for somehow not living up to your exacting standards and continually letting you down. Kinda like me only a little bitchier and with better tits.

That's an awful lot of bitterness for a single person to carry around. You should get some Prozac or something, you're going to have an embolism

Donovan, I think for his circumstances, TQ is doing well for himself.

Shitty tasting cheese is one thing. But when someone on the public dole uses those funds to purchase items I couldn't afford, even with a full time job, I'm going to become resentful.

Why bother then? Why bother working when it's just easier to sit back, collect a check every month, turn on my big screen TV, watch ESPN, and surf the net on my high end laptop? Farfetched, you say? Tell that to the guy that was living in Trump Tower in NYC, by committing fraud and collecting thousands of dollars of welfare checks every month.

Living in Trump Tower. Using funds allocated for people who cannot provide for themselves. It's this mentality I'm rallying against.

I would concur with your anger against the perpetrators of fraud. I do not, however, make the foolish error of lumping all welfare recipients into the same "freeloader" category. In fact, although I am a self-sustaining college grad with multiple honors and BA, at two times in my life I was forced to accept the government teat. It is by no means a free ride or a picnic, and is probably one of the most humiliating and degrading events a person can suffer through just to eat. Add to that the number of self-righteous assholes who feel entitled to judge my groceries, my car, my clothing, my wristwatch or even the number of kids I have and you begin to see my point.

This post is a shorter version of one I tried to post (got eaten by my computer) but I will finish with this point. Like it or not, there are people in this country who are less fortunate and need assistance. And despite the flaws inherent in any system, our welfare system works with moderate success. I'd ask anyone on this board to submit a list of how many homeless/disadvantaged people you've personally fed and sheltered this year.
Like myself, probably zero. Everybody wants to solve the problem, but nobody wants to be the one actually doing the work. That's why we have such systems in the first place.

You wanna be mad at people who defraud the system, then be mad at the ones who are good at it, like the Exec stealing your 401k or the oil baron lining his pockets on your sweat and some brown person's blood.

The guy who uses his food stamps to buy lobster shouldn't even be on your radar...his life still sucks worse than yours.

The Question said:
No, it's not -- it's the taxpayer's money, unless or until the government stops using the law to force taxpayers to give that money up.

No, it's money required from all citizens as a way to fund the entire workings of government infrastructure, and it's no different than any other country in the world. You pay the fee and the government decides what to do with the money. That includes schools, a mobilized military force, transportation/roads, and whatever else they deem as important. Your only voice in the process is that you get to have access to the list of purchases, so if you don't like how the money got spent you can vote and try to change things. But it still isn't your money, any more than the monthly electric bill is "your" money once you pay it.

Sorry, I just can't agree with this -- when the U.S. government does something to come by its money other than taking it from the citizenry, then it's the government's money. And don't forget this: the U.S. government is the taxpayer's employee (or at least ostensibly so) not the taxpayer's overlord.

In theory, maybe. But in reality we know it doesn't work that way. Our original Articles of Confederation, written way back in 1776 or thereabouts, did not provide for mandatory federal taxes. Guess what happened? Nobody paid any. The founding fathers quickly realized what we all should know. A government cannot sustain itself to any workable level without tax revenue from its citizenry. Period. Especially a country whose citizens demand so many perks as we do here. Somebody's gotta pay for all those nice interstates and new baseball parks and tanks and smart bombs and election campaigns and television ads and free pamphlets and thinktank studies and mars landings and free healthcare for politicians... and ...and ...

You try to make it seem as though if the government is some sort of entity in itself which needs to be spoonfed cash. There is no money that 'belongs to' the government because its purpose is to serve as a centralized intermediary between the people and their labor & capital, and to redistributed it accordingly. It's still their money. Simply because the government decides how to spend it directly doesn't make it 'its' money.

But it still isn't your money, any more than the monthly electric bill is "your" money once you pay it.
You're paying for a service rendered when you pay the bill. I have no idea what this false analogy is supposed to illustrate.

What's wrong with despising certain aspects of a culture when those aspects are well and truly despicable? Hating people just because they look different is stupid, obviously -- but isn't it just as stupid to hate people for refusing to keep silent when they see something stupid and destructive? Is it not possible to hate "gangsta" culture, for example, without hating all black people? Is it impossible to hate Zionism without hating all Jews? If so, aren't 99% of Americans, then, virulently hateful toward whites because they disdain neo-Nazis?

That's pretty much exactly what it is: a self-perpetuating machine that requires constant feeding to keep it functioning.

Incorrect. Taxes are the fees citizens pay for the right to be governed in the manner they have selected for themselves. We get to decide who makes the laws and to some extent how they make them, but the actual funding of said government is paid for by taxes, which amount to fees for services rendered.

You're paying for a service rendered when you pay the bill. I have no idea what this false analogy is supposed to illustrate.
See above. Your tax dollars are your payment for the right to a bloated, inefficient, self-perpetuating democratic government in all its flawed glory.

Got a pretty good deal on it, all things considered. Our views of things seem to differ in that you are speaking of theoretical government while I am describing the reality of the situation. Anyone who truly believes tax money is theirs to do with as they wish should stop paying taxes for a year or two and report back what happens.

If they can still afford a computer that is...
