Martin Luther King: Sacred Cow

How about Thanksgiving? Care to blow the lid open on that?

You remember me saying I was a Jesus freak?

Who blew their load all over Christmas?

We were the envy of the world, and continued to push our systems and beliefs on the rest of the world, meanwhile blacks still had to use separate bathrooms and water fountains, and were denied education in public institutions. What the fuck can you say to that?

Comparing then to now? You wouldn't like what a genuinely honest person would say to that.

You know, I had an argument similar to this one over at ExIsle a couple of years ago. The end result was a bunch of pantywaists crying "yes, he may have done all these things, but no one is perfect, plus he's a symbol."

And that's exactly it: he's a symbol and nothing more. King accomplished nothing. In fact, if the celebration of "civil rights for blacks" is what's important, then why do we not honor the men who actually got civil rights for blacks? You know the ones:

Harry Truman: integrated the US armed forces.
Dwight Eisenhower: enforced Brown vs. BOE... particularly right here in my home state with the 101st... which was a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.
What about the justices of the USSC who passed down Brown and subsequent rulings of that nature?
Jack Kennedy: who championed the Civil Rights movement.
Lyndon Baines Johnson: who further championed it, carried it into reality, and set the FBI on the Klan during the 60s. You know the Klan: the only whites who had the balls to stand up to what was happening?

What about these men? They did more for the black man and his "civil rights" than King ever did or ever could do. Oh wait... they're white and in power, so they don't count.

Which proves two things I've said for two decades now: the civil rights movement was a socialist revolution in the making that ended with MLK's head exploding and MLK day is nothing more than a sop to appease the troublemaking niggers of this nation in tandem with something to give self-hating white liberals something to feel good about.

Because God forbid someone not feel good.

It's a farce. It's a fucking farce, and anyone who subscribes to it is an uneducated blank.... and Menty, I refuse to take you seriously on this subject after reviewing that leftist shit hole you hail from.

The Motherland you mean? 200 years isn't the start of history for us. It would be prudent to remember that.

As much as I like you, CU, all that comes forth in these posts is an incendiary nature filled with seething anger. And it's misplaced anger because I see nobody else getting bent out of shape by the discussion. To quantify an institutionalized hatred against black people and to personify it through one man is feeble, and until somebody has the balls to stand up and attempt to really defend their position against the Oxford definition of what "racism" means I am left with an eyebrow raised and an unimpressed look on my face.

Hello dumbass. Who appointed Marshall to the USSC?

Read history you fucking moron.
LBJ.

I am not sure what your point is, but you sound like a cross between a ninth grade history teacher and a 12 year old bully.

Oh who the fuck cares, Menty? Play that card on someone who might be impressed.

As much as I like you, CU,

Check that. You didn't like me until some accounts at EI started showing up with your name all over them. I had to bitchslap you to get your respect, and I'll do it again.

Check yourself again. I'm by no means the only one, and don't mistake forcefulness for "seething anger." You're just not used to someone feeding you the truth.

Well, he happens to be the one under discussion right now, in case you didn't notice.

Menty, you've demonstrated time and again that you're a debit to whites, not a bonus, so I'm sorry to tell you that what you think and what you raise your eyebrow toward is at best inconsequential, and at worst will bite you on the ass in the future.

Thurgood Marshall argued Brown for the NAACP btw.
Which means nothing. A fucking wombat can argue a case. The USSC handed down the decision. They didn't have to do it, but they did, and they were white.

Remember that.

ETA: now I'm going to have to research the history of that and see if any of them were actually Jews.

Oh, you want to play? How cute.

Then shut the fuck up with your salt of the earth patriotism.

Check that. You didn't like me until some accounts at EI started showing up with your name all over them. I had to bitchslap you to get your respect, and I'll do it again.

Check this: I always found it amusing that you thought I actually had any knowledge about the hacked accounts at EI. Newsflash: I didn't, and you know why? Because, basically I have more important things to be worrying about other than your desperate attempts to look like a half competent troll. I was always left perplexed at your constant references to them and I STILL don't know what that was all about. I'm afraid whatever the case at EI was it was my fame preceding me. Sorry to dissapoint.

As for me liking you: It is due to your being a good adversary which I won't retract. But you're living in some sort of delusion if you think that you somehow schooled me into compliance. How very quaint and frankly laughable of you. Check this

But mommy! I'm not the only one doing it!

Well, he happens to be the one under discussion right now, in case you didn't notice.

Cranky is being just as lame. It's not my problem that you're all circle jerking eachother into illogical oblivion.

Menty, you've demonstrated time and again that you're a debit to whites, not a bonus, so I'm sorry to tell you that what you think and what you raise your eyebrow toward is at best inconsequential, and at worst will bite you on the ass in the future.

I think I'll take my chances with reason before donning the white hood, thanks.

A wombat can aruge a Supreme Court case? Are you retarded?

I don't understand the LBJ thing, either. So LBJ appointed MArshall to the Court. Does that mean that he's responsible for everything Marshall did thereafter?

If you're sharing responsibility around, then don't the Senators who confirmed the nomination get credit?

You know your points will be a lot clearer if you make them in plain English, rather than pose smug questions and smear your interlocutors with angry epithets.

Well bitch, I explained my point in Junior High school English several posts up, but let me touch on it again because I understand puberty is probably inteferring with your thought processes:

Blacks owe their civil rights and any government position they've held in the past 40 years and hold today due to the good graces of whites. I listed the major players who got the ball rolling. LBJ appointed Marshall, which he didn't have to do (and wouldn't have if he hadn't been carrying the political torch for Kennedy, since Johnson generally hated blacks) therefore Marshall's acts come through the good graces of whites who were in power.
