New Doctor Who

Seriously, what's with all the ugly women in Who? Donna, Gwen, Rose...Sarah Jane is hot for an older chick, at least, and Martha obviously (shame about the acting lol.)

Gwen Cooper doing one of those "I'm holding a GUN and WALKING" poses that I bet nobody even does in real life.

Tonight's episode was really good, except for the lame beatle and the usual assortment of corny lines "London's gone.. all of it!" (yes, we can see that, Russell, there's a fucking mushroom cloud). I don't remember Billie Piper's mouth being like that before. I know it's been a while, but she didn't have a speech impediment in the first series did she?

Next week's looks like it'll be mind blowing, so it could well be awful. With that many characters, how many will actually be featured for more than a couple of seconds? I bet Martha will get no more than a knowing look between her and the Doctor and few "I'm on it!" type lines as she disappears off camera to do something we don't see in any detail.
 
I liked the really baddly dubbed "HE MUST HAVE DIED TOO FAST TO RENGERATE" which seemed to have been put on later, as RTD must have just thought "I KNOW I'LL KILL THE DOCTOR THAT WILL ROCK I RULE!!!!" and then realised that it doesn't make any sense for him to die.

Not that the line does now, because it seems that drowning is too quick a death. And the fact that he drowned to death after surviving about a thousand things last series that would kill him, it was very cheap.
 
Plus he was dead for quite a few hours in the TV movie, but I guess all but his appearence is pretty much non canon now
 
No, the TV Movie is canon. The reason he was dead for a while before he regenerated was because the anaesthetic used in his operation caused the regneration to delay, which is also why he rengerated with memory loss.
 
Seriously though...Billie's teeth?
 
I'm not sure her teeth are bigger, its her face got smaller.
 
They should have used a CGI Rose.
 
Maybe that's why all the bees are missing. They're now her teeth. Bee teeth.

Has there been any official word on the teeth? Did RTD exclaim that they were fabulous to work with?

ALSO, suggestion for Tomtrek: cover up the screen when the "written by" credit appears next week, so you don't know it's a RTD episode. You might enjoy it if you do (but probably not, GAY FARTING ALIENS LOL).
 
Well considering Paul O'Grady is credited as "Himself" for the next episode, that and it will feature MILLIONS OF ALIENS ATTACKING EARTH(s), I really don't think there'd be any doubt as to who wrote the episode.
 
Derek Acorah was the best "as himself" guest star.
 
Turn Left was another example of RTD gay referencing.
 
I never thought of that.
 
After all, turning "left" (wink wink, nudge nudge) was the correct path!
 
I hope Richard and Judy are in the finale.
