I nearly forgot about Ferdinand since he wasn't around much (I guess James Frain is busy being in every show ever) so it's good that they wrapped him up. MK's murder still feels a bit random though.
Little Gracie. I TOLD YOU that long-necked woman needed to die.
I guess it really is Alison then. I wonder if they invited Tony to the art show.
CASSIE, did you notice that long neck is the pretty girl who used to be in Stargate Universe? I guess that shows she's a good actress because I just want to punch her in the neck in OB.
I can never remember the name of the other guy who's always with Scott, or where he came from. I hope they say his name next week because that will be the last chance I have of learning it!
Did everyone hear Helena singing over the end credits?
All the end credits were I saw after the "Babies coming" scene was a promo for next week's series finale....."Who will survive until the end?" They showed Virginia Coady in that promo but I don't think there's any way she survived Helena's head bashing.
WELL, it's over. The finale was certainly an episode of two halves. The first half was a bit undwhelming (Long Neck just gets knocked out!?) and it felt wrong that only Sarah, Helena and Art were involved. The show is always at its best when all the characters, clones and supporting players, are working together on a problem. Imagine if it had been one big epic takedown of Westmoreland with everyone involved? Would have been cool!
The second half was much better as it was the kind of stuff Orphan Black does so well: character stuff. The scene with the four clones together was just another reminded of the greatness of TatMas as you literally couldn't tell all four were the same person and not four different actors acting off each other. Everyone got a nice send-off and yes I felt human emotions at times. SISTERHOOD.
As a whole it was a weird, unbalanced final season. Why did we spend so much time with Mud and the Frankenstein guy and the island at the start of the season? None of it mattered! We left the island and they never came back. I didn't like the way Gracie and Mark were just brought back to die. Westmoreland was not a good ultimate villain at all. But the show was saved by the obvious love the cast have for it (and the love the writers have for the characters...a love they don't have for the show's mythology.)
GOODBYE ORPHAN BLACK I hope other people post their thoughts!
oh yeah they do. I forgot about that. That's why Westmoreland wanted her baby's blood or something.
If anything the babies will grow up and make money as Freak Show attractions. Watch as Orange and Purple eat literally anything. Raw Sewage? No problem! Missles, bombs, and grenades? No problem!
