I'd like a job probably in retail, customer service, or maybe even an entry level office clerk. Most of my experience is in retail(cashier mostly) and food service, with a little bit of call center experience(Verizon surveys, tax collector).
 
I take it you have already applied at all the local big box stores - Walmart, Target, Kmart, and such - grocery and home repair stores, as well as all the temporary employment agencies. Have you considered looking into getting a grant to go back to school and upping your skills? I think you've discovered customer service and call center jobs are the first to go in a bad ecnonomy and many of those jobs had already gone overseas to India anyway.

Yeah I've applied to all the local box stores already. Don't really want temporary employment or to go back to school unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. I already have enough debt as it is without adding more.

Too bad there isn't a program out there that could read the words to the posts in Neil Diamond's singing voice. Some of it would fit well sung to the tune of Cracklin' Rosie.

I hope you do read it. Some of it is really good spam.
 
I could sound like Neil Diamond if I took sand paper and wiped out the inside of my throat, gargled with gravel and took up smoking four packs of cigarettes a day. Of course, I would be dead and someone would have to push air through my body to get the vocal chords to make little sounds that someone could interpret as speech from the dead. I wouldn't sound much like Neil Diamond either. So, scratch that idea.

Just read it aloud in a very manly voice. And, then, all of a sudden, read a post in a whisper.
