Spartacus Vengeance

Mmm. It occurred to me that it didn't show his face, so it was useful in that sense, but I was probably a bit annoyed that they thought we needed the flashback anyway. As a TRUE FAN I recognised the significance of the gold mask immediately when she looked at it, so I didn't need to see the scene again.

If that's where they're going with it, then I can understand them wanting to show the sex scene again. That makes a lot more sense now. I thought Ilithyia being pregnant (and not seemingly even too excited about it) was just a way to create conflict between her and Lucretia, but this is Spartacus, so of course there's more to it than that.

Sorry, I can't get into it. The sex is ehh, and I have plenty of resources when it comes to seeing hot naked men. And my hot naked men have hard-ons and look like they're enjoying each other.

And I am REALLY not into the way they try to make the violence even sexier than the sex. It rubs against my grain.

Yeah, it's not for everyone. But I would think you'd enjoy the Desperate Housewives style plotlines of hot, bored, rich people screwing eachother over and banging the help.

I'm not normally into gore (I'm not offended... but maybe that's the problem, I think enjoyment of it relies on you being shocked by it), but I really enjoy it in Spartacus. The fight scenes never seem to get stale, as they're always very well choreographed and inventive.
 
Yeah, I normally hate gore, and usually avoid shows and movies that have too much... but it's just so different in Spartacus. The over the top blood spray, and the comical facial expressions just MAKE ME LOVE IT. I think. ALSO DONGS.

That's not what Desperate Housewives is. That's what it's been parodying and deconstructing all these years (sometimes).

That's more what Revenge is these days (WHICH I DO LOVE).

Great to have some backstory for Doctore. Hopefully they'll do that for a few other characters.

Good eye acting from Ilithyia when she was day dreaming about Sparty sex.

Ashur's return was spoiled for me by the official Facebook page, which showed a picture of him earlier in the week. Now I don't know whether I would've guessed the mysterious figure was him or not!

That guy really did have a rather large dick. Must be annoying having that thing flapping around all the time.

When present day Doctore (I can't spell Onameius) was fighting there was a topless woman walking around with a rather large prosthetic dick.

I'd kinda forgotten about Ashur, too, so I don't think I would've guessed either. I can't recall how he escaped Batty's house.

I loved how they did Doctore's back story. I knew exactly who that was supposed to be, and they didn't feel the need to explain it to us like we're a bunch of dumbos.
 
I didn't know it was Ashur either. I was secretly hoping that Gatticus had come to save him from himself and his zexy ass would be back. Alas, no.

I like that they're not just having all the freed slaves be like YES FREEDOM. They are basically exchanging one master for another.

Illythia needs to go. Her face is annoying.

I like when Lucretia makes Xena faces. I see those and I think "Bitch is going down".
 
Ilithyia often makes me think of Ke$ha, despite her posh accent, so I naturally despise her.

She is amusing though.
