Star Wars: Rebels

Yeah but they also show clips of Hondo in Clone Wars to remind us that the characters looked better in Clone Wars. :(

This was another episode that was...fine. I mean I liked that Hera got more to do and flew a B-Wing and stuff. She just didn't really get much of a character arc or anything and aside from one good scene we didn't find out anything new about her. Every episode this season (apart from the Darth Vader two parter) has felt like there's been something missing. It's a bit shallow?

What's to stop the Imperials just killing everyone on that planet now that they've had contact with known rebels?
 
I liked it! B-Wings are cool and Hero is cool and Sabine is cool and she was there too. I liked it!

I also liked this Rebel's Recon.

LOOKING FORWARD TO A SABINE EPISODE NEXT WEEK.
 
It was a bit better than the last few episodes. Still some pretty bad writing with the exposition heavy dialogue between Sabine and Gina Torres, and the way they went from hating each other to being friends again just out of nowhere after five minutes. BRING BACK KATIE LUCAS.

I like gonk droids.
 
This episode did feel a bit rushed... but I like Sabine a lot so I enjoyed this episode.

I LIKED THIS EPISODE it was fun. I'm glad Rex is staying around as a semi-regular, BUT WHERE'S AHSOKA??

That was definitely the best one since the Darth Vader episodes. The rest of the season has felt a bit lightweight but this felt important again. Ahsoka coming through the doors like Darth Maul but with awesome white lightsabers BECAUSE SHE'S A GODDESS certainly didn't hurt. And Chopper wanting to blow up a baby.
 
Yeah! That was a good episode of Rebels! I mean the rest haven't been bad but this was better. I liked having Ahsoka there. More Ahsoka. BUT DON'T YOU FUCKING KILL AHSOKA, DAVE, I'LL GET YOU.

On this Rebel's Recon they don't even talk to Ashley Eckstien what the hell.

It was a really big door!

I liked this episode, the first half was really fun, although the second half kind of dragged when it was revealed that The Force was guiding Ezra to meet Some Guy who just spat out some exposition.

It felt like it should have been a two-parter (or just two different episodes) since the "oh by way your parents are dead" bit seemed really tacked on.

Before Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels began, executive producer Dave Filoni teased that he was bringing another major legacy character from the films to his animated series. We can now reveal that guest star is Princess Leia Organa (who is going by General Organa in the current blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Awakens).

The iconic character—who was introduced in the very first scene of the first Star Wars movie back in 1977 (aka A New Hope)—will be featured in the January 20 episode of the Disney XD series, which is set prior to that film, just as the Galactic Empire is beginning its ruthless oppression. The teenage princess is sent to Lothal—the base planet for the series’ main characters, a group of rebel fighters—on a secret mission to bring ships for the rebel fleet. Unfortunately an Imperial lockdown throws that plan into chaos.

There was so much stuff there that I thought I heard Darth Vader talking to Ahsoka in an Anakin voice and now I don't trust my ears.
 
But that was a dream though right?

Although Vader surfing on top of his own personal TIE fighter while his saber was lit, was pretty fucking epic.
