What film did you recently see ? Do not forget to rate it

I disagree. It's not a stand-alone movie. You really need to see the two F&F movies to understand this one. Also, it's not as much about the cars as the others were. They tried to make a car movie into a soap-ish drama. I was fairly unimpressed. It's probably because I recently watched a lot of good car movies like Vanishing Point, the original Gone in Sixty Seconds, and Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry. Fast and Furious has too many fast cuts, CGI, and the chase scenes are so brief that you can't really see how amazing the cars are that they're driving.

I'd give it a C-

Uh... I guess you missed the first sentence of my post. Or maybe I should have been more clear about tribute movie. It was all about the first movie, just a plot set up to bring all the characters together. I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie for what it was, and considering this one made no bones about it's purpose (Hell look at the name plus subtitle, New Model, Same Parts) I thought it did a good job. Thus the rating.

Let the right one in

A very chilling vampire film,on many levels. An odd, lonely 12yo boy strikes up a friendship with a 12yo girl/vampire. I won't give the rest away, but it is a great moody film with a take on vampire relationships you don't see in movies, that also manages to speak to the isolation and loneliness in all of us. And it's stunning looking with all of those scandinavian winterscapes. A must see.

Revolver : It's one of the smartest, most brilliant, breathtaking, and psychological movies I have ever seen. This movie epitomizes higher art, and will only appreciated by an educated audience. This movie blows The Usual Suspects out of the water and the deep philosophical concepts subtly hidden inside it make Kant look like a fucking idiot.

.... Not !

Terrible piece of pretentious shit.

The Day The Earth Stood Still (Keanu Reeves one)

If it hadn't been for Will Smith's son being a dick in every scene he was in, I might have given this one an 8. But alas, the soon to be Karate Kid fucked it up. I give it a 6.

Taken: 8/10

The action was great, and don't ever fuck with a man with mitachlorines in his blood!

American Gangster: 7/10

Surprisingly entertaining. Could've been shorter (actually, should have been) but great performance by Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe was okay as well.

Il Divo.

Hard to judge. Very confusing, very fascinating. Maybe a second viewing would help, maybe it wouldn't.
7/10.

The Promotion

Caught this little gem last night on HBO. Eccentric comedy with quirky characters, and two likable guys that just want a fucking promotion!

8/10

Love in the Time of Cholera

WTF?? Get the fuck over it! Jesus Christ...carrying a torch for 51 years, and the day her husband dies, you go to her and tell her we can finally be together? BORING

UP, a very nice movie.

Lots of adult concepts in there. Not sexual you pervs.

9/10

I like that while following a formula, they went at it in different ways.

Equilibrium

5/10

If it weren't for the incredibly well-choreographed gunfights, this movie would've been very painful to watch.
