Sterotypical and baseless. I held down a job which required me to look better than god every single day. Those same folks were almost certainly going to fuck life up no matter what. Pot wasn't the cause as much as it was a means to an end. I have met many very successful people who have partaked in varying degrees of pot soking here or there. Hell, my mother smokes very occasionally. She was one of the most shit hot copywriters in London. She wrote the ORIGINAL copy for Java and Borland for chri'ssake. The fact that alcohol doesn't have the same stigma saddens me.

I am in my late thirties, gainfully employed, I own my own car and house. I am not divorced, have never been arrested for anything, do not have credit card debt and get laid well on a regular basis. In my experience, people who don't and haven't smoked but are sure it's the devil are not going to be plussed, ruffled or take pause to consider ANYTHING I have to say. I kind a thought the bulk of my material on this "forum" plus the numbers in terms of times smoked might add up to "not all lifelong smokers are retards" but your still waving the "behaviors" of "other people you've known" at "us".
