Sweetie, I clearly know more potheads than you. I've smoked with the rich and famous and the down and out. Thousands of potheads. How the FUCK can you not think of this before posting? How could you not anticipate that my admited 18 years of smoking would give me a thousand times better perspective into this world?

In conclusion:

The only "evidence" of any kind provided in this thread to support any arguments whatsoever were the first hand accounts of myself, Menty and TQ.

Both myself and Menty have been labeled "exceptional" by comparrison to other evidence except the only evidence by which this comparrison could even be made was TQ's homeless peers in Tempe.

This distinction seemed worth making.

not really, I already lost my scholarship and will probably join the army to avoid starvation and becoming a burden on society.

Either way I wont be doing this country much good.
 
Wait a minute, I started this thread for a reason. Some of the debate has been interesting but the stoner=good/stoner=bad argument is clearly degenerating into a he said she said.

That said, with the exceptioon of a 1 year period about 4 years ago, I have smoked pot many times a day every day since 1976 when I started.

I've been married 26 years, raised three kids, two through college, and have ahad a full, rich and successful life.

The whole idea that getting high either had anything to do with that, or prevented any of it, is just bullshit.
 
It was a sarcastic comment, I am in no way special or exceptional, I just do beleive that marijuana has impaired my judgement, and caused my apathy to grow to immense proportions. I should be in class right now, or at least writing some of those week old papers I haven't started, but I just don't care, and I do beleive that smoking did help to make me this way.

Jack disagreed with this, so I jokingly stated that I must be special because smoking has affected my life negatively, and even though I acknowledge this I don't plan to stop.
 
I was expelled from school because in a debate on funding education, I had facts figures and charts showing how the government should fund education by growing and selling pot and all of our taxes would be lowered. The teacher had NO sense of humor at all!!
